TRU-SPEC Men's 24-7 Series Classic Pant

These pants are durable, wash-dry easy, easy on waist, and don’t restrict movement. Having a kidney transplant, I needed a high rise pants, these are my go to pants for daily wear, hiking, canoeing, yard work, honey-do jobs. I have 4 pairs in different colors.

I've been buying these pants for a while and now have some in several colors. Of course on Amazon i can get them for about half of what I pay in the local Army surplus store.These have held up very well for me, I wear them to work and in the colder months I wear them as a football coach. the clean up well and are durable. I also really like the hidden pockets. Not so much because they are hidden, but because they are very secure. One of the things I never liked about most khaki tyoe pants is that the pockets are too loose and things fall out. I like the zipper pockets because I am able to put important things in them without fear of losing them when I sit down. They have a hidden elastic band too on the sides that is also nice as it makes the pants flex when you move and makes them even more comfortable.

As stated slightly on the baggy side and just a shade longer than expected, not enough to return because I like these pants.WHEN I order AGAIN and I will, I will try a size shorter.They look well and have received compliments and few realize they have the extra pockets until I show them. Zipper on extra pockets is low profile yet works when you need them. Zipper on the fly is very "beefy" and I like that too.Pockets in the back are a little larger than they need to be... for me.Repels water easily, material seems fairly strong but not heavy (cooler than jeans or other cotton pants).And yes... most importantly... comfortable, flexible waist... very good for those who "carry" using a inside the pants holster with belt.

Arrived on time. Product is as described with one thing to mention…. You must hem the length to be wearable. I don’t remember seeing that detail in the description. Otherwise, good pants and I would buy again.

I bought two of these trousers a couple of years ago during a stay in the US. After wearing them day in and day out for nearly three years it became time to replace them. Size and quality have not changed, so they fit as expected.I like these pants because they have many pockets, some of them not too obvious. It is possible to wear them in the office if a business-casual style is acceptable. They are practical enough for holiday trips, especially if you wear a polo shirt without pockets and have to keep documents, various currencies, a large mobile phone,a pocket knife, etc.A note on colours: originally I had bought a black and a tan one. After several washes the black began to fade out and some parts of the pant became significantly lighter in colour. I dyed them black but this didn't really help. The tan one also faded out but it didn't show as much. My advice: Get them in tan and forget the dark colours.As I said I like the pockets. They can hold a lot of stuff. Due to the fact that the pants are comparatively baggy the stuff you have in your pockets doesn't show too much. But some of the pockets have vertical zippers. It is not very easy to access them quickly. You have to be prepared to live with that if you don't want to wear the typical cargo pants.Finally something not directly related with the product, but with the service of Amazon: I am in Germany and I ordered the pants from Amazon in the US. Due to some problem caused by the local delivery service my packet was not delivered to my home. I was informed that it was going to be shipped back to Amazon. It was impossible to sort things out here in my country. I had to contact Amazon directly and ask for help. I found Amazon's support staff extremely helpful and friendly. They redirected the shipment to me very quickly. It was a pleasure to deal with them. So, thanks again!

I own several pairs of the cargo pocket style of these pants as well as the shorts and love them all. Needed some nicer 'dress pant' looking pants for job/church and these fit the bill. Just as comfortable and durable as the other pairs I have just without the outside pockets. These still have a traditional '5 pocket' form but also 2 hidden pockets of each side of the legs with the zippers concealed into the line down the side. In addition to the concealed pockets there is also a pocket on each side (slightly behind the regular pocket) that I have noticed is on every model of these pants/shorts. It is perfect size for a pen or pocket knife. Also because of its position whenever you would move (i.e. from standing to sitting) very often a pen in a front pocket would either stab your leg or get pushed out of the pocket. Since these pockets are more of the hip whatever is in them doesn't move/fall out when you change position. I love the pockets and these pants. I would highly recommend them even though they are a bit more expensive than most pairs of pants, the original 3 pairs I bought almost 5 years ago with daily use still look new. They are worth the money as they are well made.

I live in cargo pants, but sometimes one needs to be dressier. The apparently discontinued 5.11 Covert pants really fit the bill. Even my wife conceded that were a good match for Bean or Lands End chinos, but they are, alas, going away. I have always like Tru-Spec stuff, so was happy to see these in the line. While flaps are nice to secure stuff, they aren't dressy on the rear pockets. Ripstop is great, but isn't dressy either and looks a bit odd when wearing a blazer. The knife pockets also diminish dressiness plus who wants to make it obvious they are carrying a knife? Handy, but the clip and dedicated pocket screams folding tacticool knife. The security pockets aren't useful for me, but they don't interfere with anything, so no problem, but the cargo pockets on the pants legs are a grave disappointment. They are way too small. You can get in a Surefire 6P sized light or a nice multitool, but they won't hold a wallet. Not having to sit on a wallet is one of the joys of cargo pants. Others suggest ripstop in the pockets and that is a good idea. In the end, I am keeping them, but I am still looking for a 5.11 Covert replacement.

Gut: sitzt gut, fühlt sich gut an, ist gut verarbeitet.Nicht so gut: Anfangs etwas steif, nach zweimal waschen aber besser, raschelt recht laut, die Oberschenkeltaschen sind zwar sehr unauffällig, eignen sich aber nur zur Aufbewahrung sehr flacher und biegsamer Gegenstände, man könnte auch darauf verzichten. Trotz der kleinen Fehler hat die Hose das Potential zum Lieblingsstück.
