Teensy Can Make Big Things Happen
I am very pleased with this product. I have been using it as my go to board for my electronic projects. I have been using it with Claude-Code to build a variety of MIDI products. The Teensy 4.1 is exceptionally well suited for these types of products. Combining the Teensy products with a 3D printer and Claude-Code and the possibilities of what one can make are endless.

Great device, highly recommended
Very good! I'm coming from an Arduino Leonardo. This board is SIGNIFICANTLY faster, has a ton of very well designed libraries, and has zero hiccups during processing. I'm currently using it as a custom mouse/keyboard/joystick device I built as the brain. The serial port is insanely fast, have never seen it take over 1ms. It has everything built in you can think of. USB host? Yup. Ethernet? Yup. The only downside I can think of is the power consumption, and the heat. I put a heatsink on top of the chip just in case it was downclocking. You do need a little bit of soldering experience if you plan on using all the futures, but it's nothing difficult.

Programs like an Arduino, seems really fast, lots of IO, Threading with TeensyThreads.h
Trying it out for my robot. I need speed and lots of I/O. So far it programs like an Arduino, programs upload really fast, CPU itself seems very fast, and has multitasking with: #include <TeensyThreads.h> I'm very impressed. Check it out (Specifications): - 10/100 Mbit DP83825 PHY Ethernet - USB Host (5 Pins w/ Power Management) - Micro SD Socket SDIO (4 Bit Data) - 35 PWM Pins - 18 Analog Inputs - 8 Serial Ports - 8 Mbyte Flash Memory - QSPI Memory (2 Chips Plus Program Memory) - 42 Breadboard Friendly I/O - 7 Bottom SMT Pad Signals - 6 SD Card Signals - 55 Total IO Pins The Teensy 4.1 is crazy fast, and you can overclock it easily with a compiler code to 1GHz. Below is set for 816MHz. Example: ; PlatformIO Project Configuration File ; ; Build options: build flags, source filter ; Upload options: custom upload port, speed and extra flags ; Library options: dependencies, extra library storages ; Advanced options: extra scripting ; ; Please visit documentation for the other options and examples ; https://docs.platformio.org/page/projectconf.html [env:teensy41] platform = [email protected] board = teensy41 framework = arduino ;build_flags = -O3 ; <--- compile for fastest performance ;build_flags = -DF_CPU=720000000 -O3 # For 720MHz ; <--- needs cooling build_flags = -DF_CPU=816000000 -O3 ; ;# For 816MHz ; <--- needs solid cooling ;build_flags = -DF_CPU=1000000000 -O3 ; <--- needs lots of cooling ; upload_protocol = teensy-gui lib_deps = adafruit/Adafruit BusIO Adafruit [email protected] [email protected] ftrias/TeensyThreads@^1.0.2 sparkfun/SparkFun Qwiic GPIO TCA9534 Arduino Library@^1.0.0 cytrontechnologies/Cytron Motor Drivers Library@^1.0.1 adafruit/Adafruit Unified Sensor@^1.1.14

Good Board
Good little development board for Arduino type things. This one has a lot of I/O that was needed for this project. At 600MHz, this device is a lot faster than the Rabbit 3100 series it will be replacing. Can use the Arduino development tools to build software. Lots of support with many libraries to do just about anything you'll need to do. We'll see how it works in a production environment in the next months.
