Best reusable, machine washable, produce bag!
Bought these bags because I was tired of my produce not being able to breathe in the regular plastic bags that you find in grocery stores. These are wonderful! A pack of 3 comes in two different sizes: 2 medium and 1 large. They are color coded so you know which size is which. They are durable yet light weight and have a nice drawstring. When they get dirty you can machine wash them!! To dry just air dry. I have about 15 of them that I use religiously. Highly recommend for anyone concerned about the environment or who just wants to make their life easier.

Surprisingly large volume and easy to wash and dry
We've already used these bags twice in runs to our local farmer's market. They're terrific. We four giant heads of broccoli in the large bag, while the small bags each hold five giant yellow onions, or 25 average-sized Roma tomatoes, or 20 nectarines. And when we get the bags home we can wash and dry them very easily and quickly, or store vegetables in them in the crisper (no leafy vegetables, though). We wanted cotton bags originally but settled on these because they're far more economical and because they're stain resistant and dry quickly after washing. We know, though, that ultimately these bags are likely to end up somewhere we'd rather they not be (synthetic), so we're also searching for a biodegradable option that's nearly as practical as these.Warning: there's no drawstring on the bags (items fall out easily).

Durable Washable Reusable Produce Bags
I found these bags at the Container Store and decided to give them a try. One year later and living overseas I was searching for more of these reusable produce bags. I am so glad I found this brand on Amazon.Although not advertised on Amazon, this is a women started and run company, which I love supporting. Regardless of that fact, the product is really good. I wash by bags weekly on a regular machine cycle in warm water and hang them dry. They still look new and unworn after a year's worth of use.The bags come in two sizes, which is all that I need when purchasing produce. The large bags hold 8-10 bell peppers and the smaller bags hold 7-8 lemons.I absolutely recommend giving these reusable bags a try. I think they are meant for use in shopping and not so much for storing your vegetables. After washing my vegetables I store them in our produce bin or in ziploc bags with paper towels.

Don't Mesh with My Bags
I first spotted these reusable mesh produce bags in a Sunflower store while visiting Colorado. They were a little pricey, but I thought I'd give them a try anyway. Since I had already gotten used to taking bags to the grocery store, I stuffed the produce bags in one of them so I wouldn't forget to take them to the store.I got used to using them fairly quickly - it seemed that everytime I went to get a plastic produce bag, the closest dispenser would be empty and I'd have to go hunting for one that had bags. After I got used to using the reusable produce bags, I wished I had more, but none of the places in my area stocked them. I shouldn't have to worry about it now after purchasing this double package - I have nine bags in all now.The bags are sturdy. I put bananas in the large bag. I've even had a "personal watermelon" in one of the small bags. But be sensible - if you put something heavy in the bag, I wouldn't suggest carrying the bag by the draw string. The string might support the weight, but I'm not gonna test it. It's just as easy to pick up a bag of produce by the top of the bag.The bags also wash easy. We have a laundry bag that you put small items in, or ladies delicate things in. We put the produce bags in the laundry bag then toss the whole thing in the washer.I like 'em 'cause they're convenient. If you are into recycling and reusing, you might already have some. But if haven't, or you're looking for more ways to "go green," and have never used them, you should check them out - they're worth it.

Nice bags.
I haven't used my bags yet but I can see they are a good quality and will be well worth the money. I hate that we throw so much plastic away in this world. We are ruining our beautiful planet Earth with our wastefulness.

great for produce
Work great.Sturdy enough (half a dozen apples or oranges on the small ones). Can easily scan produce codes though the bag.Only downside: they don't close as securely as I would like (but then again, a mechanism to do so would add weight).

Great Alternative to Plastic Bags!
These bags are a great alternative to the plastic bags that stores have available to hold fresh fruit and vegetable before purchasing at the store. I've had several store clerks make positive comments about the bags. I just store these bags with my other reusable bags so I always have them with me whenever I'm ready to go shopping at the grocery store.

nice big bags
These bags are great. Much bigger than I expected. I have several different types of reusable produce bags and these are as nice as the others - and at a good price. The size lends them to being used for many more things beyond produce.
