Works well
The small tripod stand is out of the way and the mic has decent enough sound. Light is useful and the mic volume button too. Cool!

Better than a Cheap Web Cam or Laptop Mic for Online Meetings
O.k. this thing was $12 so I wasn't expecting audiophile quality - I just wanted something for online meetings that was better than my webcam mic.It is. The sound is loud (enough) without being distorted (the webcam mic is pretty bad). It's small, it has a volume knob that can double as a mute "button" (basically crank it counter clockwise and it will mute), and it's well built.I certainly would not use this for music. If you monitor this in OBS, or something like it, you'll definitely hear a ton of background noise, but in Zoom it was fine. The tripod is cheaply made, but the and rotating holder is metal.Overall I'm still trying to figure out if I'm going to keep it, but for $12 it's an improvement over what I was using.* Edit - A Week Later: So, this thing is pretty awesome for the price. I have 2 machines and a KVM(ish) box that switches audio, keyboard, mouse, and a thumb drive between a Mac and a dual boot Windows/Ubuntu machine. The mic works on all of them. I tried it with OBS but unfortunately the Windows/Ubuntu machine isn't powerful enough to sync audio and video, so I've just been using it with Zoom without OBS.What I've noticed, contrary to what I wrote earlier, is this mic is surprisingly good at suppressing background sounds. I cranked up a fan to test, and it actually does pretty well. Monitoring in OBS is what made me think it can't handle background noise, but since that's out of the picture it's fine. It's about two feet away from my mouth and the levels are good. It's small, and...well it's just works.I did get a seperate shock mount and tripod. The tripod on this is going to break any second (and it's awful at suppressing noise) and I thought it could use a shock mount to reduce any desk noise.Shock mount: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00HX40PPGTripod: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09J2CQHK9/Of note, it works through a Anker 3.0 hub with Mac but doesn't using a Aluratek 2.0 with Windows or Ubuntu...no idea if it's the hubs or the OSes.Overall, for the price I'm pretty impressed. It's a strong 3 star product that does what it's supposed to do.* Edit #2 - O.k. so if I could rate this 3.5 stars I would.I added a mic stand instead of using a desk tripod (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0002D0KOG), a pop filter (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01N21H9WY), a ball head (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0062TVHBE), and a windscreen (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0002GXF8Q).The windscreen is probably a bit much, but the pop filter and the stand are key.Basically getting this as close to your mouth as possible greatly increases the volume and the quality of the sound.I've tested this using Zoom and someone to be my stand in - basically I used their computer and they used mine so I could hear the sound quality.I also had them switch the sound between a Logi C270 and this...It's miles above the C270.This, with the stand, pop filter, windscreen, shock mount, and a small ball head is $70.Definitely worth it.

Thumbs up
I only had to change the audio system preference in my Mac to get it started. The wire is long, which is a plus. The tripod is stable on a flat surface and so useful. I like the fact that I can adjust my Mic up and down. To turn it on the sides is possible with a tripod shift only. Anyways, so I got this Mic for my zoom classes. I was getting worked up speaking so loudly and close to my pc. This is no longer the case. The mic picks up my sound, so I don't need to put it close. The other thing is, I am learning to play guitar and sing-alongs on garage band, and this Mic has been a good companion, not the best because it does not filter little noise.

WAY better then you're built-in microphone!
If you're just looking for something that's better than you're built-in laptop/computer microphone, this is an amazing step up. I personally wouldn't call it professional grade by any stretch of the word, you won't be recording award winning podcasts or signing your best album with this mic. But if you need something for zoom calls or personal vlogs, then this fits perfect.

Easy
How easy is this to use? Just plug it into the USB.

Crisp sound
The mic is great for the money, the only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is the little tripod stand broke right away but I was able to continue using it

Good value for the money
This microphone works well so far. I tested it when I got it a couple of days ago and the sound was very clear with the background noise being muted. I'm using it for my podcast on my chromebook computer. You may have to do more than a plug and play if you don't use Windows or Mac but there are ways to work around it if you check out the YpuTube videos. If there are any changes as I use it more often then I will update my review.

Immediate Sound Improvement / Easy Setup
The microphone itself feels substantial; and high quality. It also looks sharp on any surface. Most importantly this simply works great. Initially I was using the internal mic of my laptop and would get a lot of issues with audio quality off of zoom meetings and google chats. This mic has resolved all issues. Easiest set up just plug and play on my Windows 10 system. Highly recommend it for everyday use. There are higher quality USB mics with more features but for the price it a bang for the buck approved.
