Did the job
I needed a reasonably heavy duty bead elastic to re string a heavy metal and crystal bracelet. Reviews said possibly hard to knot. But I stretched the ends a little and did a surgeons knot and it’s been fine. I did go in a couple of days later and put a bit of clear polish on the knots as normal. But I found it to be exactly what I needed and the packaging was good. Can’t complain at all.

Seems good value for money to me.
I bought this most reasonably priced elasticated thread as I mostly make bracelets and though this thread isn’t advertised as by any famous name/Company it seems of a good quality to me though I can’t comment on durability as I have only used it for a few weeks and the bracelets I made during this time were for other people as gifts but I’ve had no complaints.

Not really useful for clothing that has to be washed.
I found that it does not last. After washing it gets discoloured and because it is not easy to tie up, it is constantly unravelling from the jumpers that I am sewing it into.

You can knot it
Really good value. I can see some reviews stating that it won't hold a knot. It does but you have to tie it really tight so that it stretches a little and when it retracts the knot holds. I also put a spot of glue on it when I'm making elastic bracelets and hide the knot under one of the beads.

Rubbish for Jewellery
Irrelevant of the knot being used this line just comes undone! Making its use for jewellery very poor as everything works loose with very little effort

Not fit for purpose
Product is rubbish. It won’t hold a knot. Even applying heat to melt it a little doesn’t work - it just burns.
