Very easy to make. Good way to get some fiber. I add three heaping soupspoons of dried kale flakes first, dump the flavor packet’s contents on top of that, add saltless Madras curry powder and stir it up before filling the cup nearly to the brim with boiling water. I stir that thoroughly, which reduces the level, add more to fill it again (to help reconstitute the kale flakes), stir again, cover and let it sit for 6-8 minutes before eating it. It makes for a tasty meal. I just wish they made a lower salt version of their black bean soup too! In fact, with the fake salt available, they could leave salt out entirely as far as I’m concerned. Of course, being retired, I eat it at home. That might not be so appealing to people who take it to their workplaces.

Not only is Dr. McDougall's Lower Sodium Vegan Split Pea Soup delicious (and that is an understatement -- the only person who makes a better split pea soup is my spouse...hands down :)), but the label means what it says: "lower sodium." This is so flavorful and made with healthy ingredients. Lower sodium is great and you can't tell it's lower in sodium because that's how good it is. My grocery stopped selling this and I was so happy to find it on Amazon.

I’ve been ordering this soup for a while. I always enjoy the taste and creamy consistency. Very easy and satisfying quick lunch.
