This thing is great! Could you buy a tablet for less, sure. But this is not a tablet. It is a video conference device. Good video and audio quality. It runs Teams and only Teams. That's not a limitation, that's the purpose. Our church wanted to run hybrid Sunday School due to COVID. Rather than try to manage computers and teach Sunday School teachers how to use them I just dropped this into the classroom and with the touch of a button on the screen they are in the meeting. Absolutely brilliant. The software updates, etc. can be managed through the Teams Admin counsel making them easy to deploy. Well done.

I purchased the device based on the advertisement saying it is running Android 8.1. Do not buy this, it will not run Android. Also it cannot be used without entering an email address and personal information. There is no option to use the unit anonymously. Item is well packaged and seems to be well made, but I have no idea why they sell it or what it is supposed to do. One star for misleading ad, for requiring personal information in order to turn on the unit, and for not being able to do anything useful. Do not purchase this.

Nice Product and build quality and nice type of product and usefulness looked great for business! But this is an older product maybe it will come back in another version or versions. Thank You Lenovo, for your past products. so not much of a review but fun to buy and see and dream of old products. This one can be rotated 90 degrees. And I think there is this version that works with Microsoft Teams Business, or organization needed. And there is a Google version. And this item was just fun.

Sure, I can use the Teams client on my Mac, but there is something more comfortable about a regular phone, I have my office number configured on my Teams account, so phone calls come into Teams. Unfortunately, there isn't a lot of options for a Teams deskphone at a home office price tag. I found this and jumped on it, and I'll say this about it - realize, there isn't a handset, definitely 1 star off for that, the Bluetooth headset works fine, but a handset to grab when the phone rings would be nice. Pluses - excellent build quality and pretty reliable. By "pretty reliable" - I mean it's a little slow to respond, when a call comes in, my iPhone 12 Pro with the Teams client on it beats the thing by a few seconds every time. I have to wait a few seconds for the call to arrive on the Lenovo. Negatives - nitpicks, but I have a few. No handset, would be nice to have one (all other options do). Second, the angle.. the screen is only a few degrees off vertical sitting on the desk. It's a touch screen and you dial using the buttons on the screen - desk phones are usually at about 45 degrees, not 75-80 degrees; it's awkward and this seems like it could have been caught in a basic prototyping design session. in other words, this is the modern-day designed-in/built-in China Lenovo, not the one of yesteryear when IBM owned it and ThinkPads were fantastic. I really want to call this 3 stars, but the price-is-right; so I'm calling it 4. Having seen some other reviews that are very negative... I think I'll add a few points: 1.) This is an office desk phone product, this is not like buying a PSTN single-line telephone to plug in and expect it to do something. You need an Office 365 business account, Teams, and telephone service (with phone numbers / auto-attendant / voicemail /etc) for this to do something. if you want to buy this because you are too lazy to open your laptop for a work-from-home Teams meeting, this isn't for you. 2.) Firmware updates - it ships with some garbage in it. Functional, but I had to reboot the thing every morning to be reliable. Firmware for it is controlled by the Teams Administrator software within Office 365 Administrator.. if you do not have or have access to that, you will either need some outside assistance, or this will be pretty flaky.

This is an interesting product. There is no review and hardly any documentation. The capabilities of this device are limited to viewing the TEAMS. It is not clear how TEAMS enhancements are going to flow down (or not) to this device. Technically you can get a cheaper Android tablet and have all of the features this device offers and a clear path for upgrades. Perhaps Lenovo should provide feedback here in terms of upgrade and features of this device.

These MUST be rooted, once done they are fantastic touchscreen terminals for Home Assistant. You have to search to find the “how to”, but pretty simple.

I'm using this Lenovo ThinkSmart View as an always-on Home Assistant dashboard (flashed with LineageOS). It's an absolutely wonderful device. Will purchase more to have at least one on each level of the house.

Co-workers report an echo when connected to meeting. Network is fine as any other device works. After adding headphones to resolve echo, I appear upside down in video. Too many bugs to recomend.

Es un producto para uso exclusivamente empresarial con Microsoft Teams. El hardware es bueno aunque limitado en cuanto a ram, sin embargo, suficiente para el sistema operativo que corre. La bocina es muy buena y la cámara aceptable. Solo puede correr Microsoft Teams y la versión es muy limitada comparada con la app de Google Play, por eso las 3 estrellas. Cumple con su función. La relación calidad/precio es muy buena.
