Explains PHP in easy to understand way, clearly highlights important points of programming. It helped me a lot to understand matters I struggled with.

I knew some PHP before reading this, but the work is well laid out and this makes the subject easy to grasp. This is a good series for those starting out in a subject.

I bought this book for easy reference and it is very easy to read and get information. Very practical and easy lessons for beginners. I really recommend this book.

Easy-peasy explanation of PHP!! I tried other books - even the "...,for Dummies"-type, to no avail. THIS book has them ALL beat hands-down! Beginning with walking you step-by-step through installing the Abyss web server and the Zend PHP engine, to creating web forms, this book teaches the reader with respect and moves at a comfortable pace that allows you to learn and ABSORB what you're reading; it then walks you, step-by-step, through coding what you just read and executing it. Most of the time everything's as it should, but if errors DO occur there is a log in the Abyss folder where error reports can be found to help you debug your scripts. I can not more highly recommend this book to anyone wanting to learn PHP.
