Will Replace Sub Zero Part But Be Aware Of Off Spec
I bought this to replace a defective Sub Zero Defrost Timer. Even though it's a drop in replacement for the part, it isn't the same in operation. This one is a 6 hour timer whereas the Sub Zero factory one is a 24 hour timer. This will work, it will just increase your energy use.

Worked just like the original part when new
My Sub-Zero freezer was having trouble making ice cubes and icicles were forming at the edges of the refrigeration unit. I recalled that this freezer showed these same symptoms about 6 years ago, and I had spent $200 to have a service tech come out to repair it. All he did that time was replace the defrost timer, and everything went back to normal. So this time I thought I'd order a new timer and replace it myself, since it was such a cheap part. It was easy to do, and once again solved the problem. Saved me the expense of another service call. Just be aware that these little devices start acting up after 5-6 years of running constantly. This replacement part fit perfectly, matching the bracket and the connector exactly. Great deal for the price!
