My partner was quickly able to change an old toilet seat out for this new and improved seat. it was easy to assemble, sturdy to sit on, a nice gloss finish which gives an elevated look to the seat. The soft close is perfect for avoiding noise and safety when using the loo with toddlers around. great value for money and stable with a good fit .

I ordered the UF (not plastic) version to replace an old shoddy plastic seat which, at the time, was the only one I could find to sort-of fit a very round pan. Bless these folks for offering a clear guide as to shape. This UF seat is very good, well made, release works great. I struggled with fitting it, though - not realizing that I'd been sent standard (modern) 'top fitting' parts (short bolts requiring screwdriver, spaceship-shaped white plastic nut thingie) and I needed 'bottom fitting' (long bolt, simple metal nut, no screwdriver needed, and an extra washer for the underside).If your loo seat is currently affixed with a bolt that comes through a porcelain shelf, and you can easily reach the long bolt and its nut below, you probably need bottom fixing.But of course I didn't know any of that, and forged ahead with the fixings I'd been sent, innovating as I went. Despite it slipping a bit, I still felt this seat was such an improvement I ordered a second one for identical loo no. 2. Lo and behold, that second seat came with 2 sets of fittings and complete instructions, which is how I discovered what I'd been needing on the first seat. 5* ease of installation with the right parts! I contacted Mass Dynamics and they are sending me the long bolts/nut/washer sets I need to fix the first one correctly, full marks to them.So: if your loo is older, and you need bottom type fixing bolts/etc, then you are unlikely to get them in the kit in future, and will have to ask for them. The good news is that the company will send them.

As our toilet is old (1950s ) I checked snd checked for a seat that would fit .. chose this one as it enabled a flex in adjustment to endure it sat on the rim with no overhang or under cut ..however .. the one thing we didn’t consider nor was listed to enable to to think of was the Diameter of the fixing plugs .. the ones that go through the base of the pan … the ones supplied didn’t go through , so we modified with use of cut down raw plugs so the metal thread was not loose in the ceramic ,and turned the inset plug upside down to screw on the bottom underneath the screws… good problem solving on our behalf , but would certainly be a problem for others who are not so DIY skilledAll in all apart from that it was easy to install anc each yo adjust to a perfect fit

Purchased one of these seat and assemblies last year to replace another type of soft close seat.This seat fits perfectly on the toilet pan that is in situ. The seat comes with suitable fittings for both top and bottom fitting.The product is very well formed and the material is of a high quality. Since fitment, there has been no discolouration of either the seat or the cover. The soft close operation remains as effective as the day it was installed. The fittings supplied are also of a very good quality and so far have not shown any tarnishing. The easy seat removal system is a worthy innovation that makes cleaning a breeze.The instruction leaflet is very clear and unambiguous.As a result of my experience with last years purchase, I ordered a second to fit another toilet in my home. This has now been fitted and again, it appears to be of the the Same quality.I have no hesitation in giving this product 5 Stars.

The plastic toilet seat fittings kept popping out of the hole in the toilet no matter what we tried. Luckily we had some other fitting purchased from Amazon recently which we were able to use not ideal but okay. The toilet seat itself is of good quality and looks very nice.

What can I say about a toilet seat. Well this. It arrived on time, very well packaged with easy to read step by step instructions. It took me 5 minutes to fit. The soft close function works great, all in all a great business seat, get one, enjoy!

As soon as I was handed the package I could tell this was not going to be the type of toilet seat I’d want to spend much time sitting on.Lighter than a catwalk model on keto, I just knew what was to come. Yep you guessed it, cheap plastic tat!I mean I realise it’s risky ordering a new seat for your place of worship online but I’d already picked one up from B&Q and that was completely the wrong fitment.As you can see, replacement of the holy seat has not gone well thus far. Anyway, as I have the kids here I thought I’d just fit it and be done and will just have to deal with the lack of solidity and sturdiness until such time as I can be bothered to buy a proper one. I think there’s a chance they may have sent me Ken and Barbies seat by mistake!But the fun doesn’t end there, once fitted this seat is about as sturdy as Bambi after a couple of Sherrie’s and no matter how much I screw the damn thing down it just wobbles around like a fat kid at a school disco.So the point to all this is, be kind to yourself and your posterior and don’t be disappointed like me. I can’t even have anyone round now, or if I do there will be an out of order sign on the lavvy door rather than have to endure the embarrassment of anyone seeing my wobbly plastic monstrosity.PS I will hover from now on!

God awful plastic fittings cause the seat to twist and lose tightness/security immediately. Nice looking product. Wish it was actually useful. Actually dreadful.
