ECCO 510 Alarm: Back-up, 97dB, 12VDC

I recently purchased the Ecco 530 back up alarm and I'm extremely pleased with my purchase. This alarm is incredibly loud and provides an excellent warning for anyone in the area that a vehicle is backing up. Installation was a breeze and the wiring instructions were easy to follow. The alarm itself is very well-built and feels like it will last a long time. I particularly appreciate the compact size, which makes it easy to mount in tight spaces. The sound emitted by the Ecco 530 is attention-grabbing and effective at alerting others to the presence of my vehicle. I feel much safer backing up in crowded parking lots or work sites now that I have this alarm installed. This was a replacement for a wonderful old Ford F700 dump, easy swap took 20 minutes with one wire included. Got done, tried it out and Whoo, not a high pitch twinn that hurt your ears or some guy in the cellar playing a cello, but a good solid professional horn sound, if there is such a thing. I would recommend this product highly, hoping longevity doesn't prove me wrong.

Product is built very well and have no doubt it will outlast my truck. This was a great deal for a very good back up alarm. It is loud and does not sound cheap. Installation was very simple.

This product is inconsistent. it will work for 15 seconds and then miss a beep or two and then go back to working as normal I wouldn’t recommend it to a friend

Was a direct replacement for an alarm that stopped working. It mounted directly to original mounting holes. New alarm works just like old one.

I have had this installed on a frieghtliner cascadia for almost 2 years now running the valley in oregon. It still sounds like the day I got it and has no issues with being wet.

Not sure why some reviewers said this wasn't loud enough. It's plenty loud. I wired this to the reverse light circuit of my 8x16 job trailer. It was easy to connect, works flawlessly and you can hear it even with the windows up in my truck (the unit is mounted to the metal frame all the way at the back of the trailer). I would definitely buy this again.
