Easy to ignite with ferro stick and even with a empty bic lighter using just the sparker. But all the pcs were split in half inside the package upon arrival, too brittle. This was the fabric mesh style.

Took my a few minutes, my first time trying, and I made fire! Used a test piece of woven. It caught and smoldered, a few breaths later and my tinder pile was ablaze!! Awesome!! I’m about to order more. The fluffy cotton tore apart, just an FYI. I’ll be ordering woven from now on.

This Char Cloth is real Good, Nice to have Stashed in your Kit. Will be buying more.
