I brought this product and followed the instructions for measuring to get the right size. I have 28” waist and 35” hip. According to the instructions I needed a small so I ordered it. It is very well made and very strong but when I came to put round my hips it was so tight I moved it up towards my waist to make it easier but it would not stretch down to where I needed it which was my groin area. I tried to loosen it and the strap that went round and under your leg but then I didn’t have enough Velcro left to attach it to. When I finally got into it, it did feel tight but I played tennis and it didn’t move and surprisingly it was not uncomfortable. When I took it off though the area of my groin felt very sore, tender and bruised so I have given it a rest. I am going to try it again to see if I can make it work because I don’t want to have wasted my money.

It was a bit of a leap in the dark with no or no guidance from my GP on how to manage my inguinal hernia pre op, I bought this based on good reviews and I can only say I have had it over a week and it been a godsend! It stops the hernia from popping out and has enabled me to continue my quite active lifestyle - I am a cycle instructor and have kept this up, I cycle regularly and run as well and with the support I have managed to keep the pain at bay.

For what it is it will do the job intended no one can see it and give u some freedom back

The product is very good but it was delivered without any packaging, just the bos it came in which was torn with an elastic band around it.

Describing this type of product as "super comfortable" is very misleading. I tried a couple of different ones and this one was better. Problem is that you need to wear it very tightly for it to work. This is certainly not comfort. I would have sent it back but just had too many things to do at the time! Purchased a product from the Support Company that has flat pads and costs about £60. Works very well in deed. I can walk ten miles easily over the hills etc with no problem. The belt type really has to be located exactly or else it's murder. Try messing about with it in the field and it's pretty embarrassing! HTH

Expensive but works, shame about the plastic bit that peels making the product look old

Very comfortable and unobtrusive to wear. Unfortunately, I do not expect to need it much longer as the hernia will shortly be surgically repaired.
