GREAT add-on!
I have another aftermarket head unit in a 2006 Cayenne. This adaptor restored the functionality of the steering wheel controls. Installation was quick and easy. Great functionality at a great price.

Works for 2009 GL450
Have a GL450 with optical sound and upgraded the radio to android 11 and this worked like a charm. IMPORTANT TIP: the ACC wire should be connected to the ACC wire output radio you’re installing NOT the car’s harness - for Mercedes at least… or you’ll drain the car battery overnight. Don’t ask me how I know that lol

Worked perfectly in my 997.1
No brainer simple install. You lose the functionality of the fader, balancer and equalizer… but who cares about all that. Sound quality is still pretty good. This is a good product for anyone looking to still retain their factory amplifier while using an aftermarket head unit in any Porsche 997.

Missing wires to connect to canbus over most
This works nearly perfectly with just the occasional time I need to power down and power back up to get it to work when there is no audio. But my issue ends up that CANBUS for the headunit is over most bus on my car. There is a third connector I suspect is for the canbus connection but it never came with a cable for it. If the seller could reach out to me and give me some support. I will gladly revise to 5/5. Thank You

Needed if your Porsche is a Bose and your putting an aftermarket deck.

I didn’t like that I had to buy it after buying a “plug and play” aftermarket system for a 2009 Porsche Cayenne, but it was still a cheaper alternative than buying a system from a box store… or at least what I had priced out. Instructions are vague but it will work when you have it figured out.
