well it definitely works. lol. good quality item . good value. easy to use, this thing is super easy to use. reading is easy. super accuracy. makes you want to test everything. lol

Way too expensive for what it does. Really not that impressed with the testing results. Could definitely spend the money I paid for a better product.

I never recieved this one due to Sellers Invoice but have the same Model and was replacing it.For some strange reason it doesnt work anymore ad quite frankly is a nuisunce if your testing multiple Items.In that case Acid would be best.If the Liquid isnt 100% Sterile and contaminated then it wont work,my last one was used just a few times,cleaned and stored,when i took it out to test it gave me 24K readings on 10K Gold constantly,so that being said go with the Acid and Stone for more accurate and cheaper way to test gold.

Accuracy is on point

I've been collecting and testing scrap gold that I assay using chemicals and a scratch block. I've been happy with that but thought this item would be more accurate. It's not! It requires too many steps and doesn't give instructions on the fluid used in the process. It also doesn't say that the fluid must be refreshed after each test. I've also never had the "not Gold" light up on anything...even a penny!

Does not test correctly. This is junk. I have used this brand for years now this one is cheap made and not reliable

一見、この装置だけで判定ができそうですが、消しゴムを削ったり、砂消しゴムで素材を削って破壊したり、最終的には薬剤（内容は不明）を使って判定します。ちなみに、手順通りに行って24金メッキを鑑定させたところ、「16K前後」と表示されました。 本体にある「TESTING」のライトなど光ることもなく、メッキ部分は見事に侵されて着色されてしまいました。 特許を取得とのことです、売り込みの文章によると手軽に非破壊検査ができるようなイメージを持ってしまったのですが、これなら試金石でチェックしたほうが簡単です。得体のしれない薬剤よりも、硝酸のほうが安心して取り扱いできます。 返品はできないようですし、アメリカからの輸入品ということで手続きも面倒なので、完全に泣き寝入りです。 そして、マニュアルくらいは日本語にしないと大半の方が困ると思います。
