Bought this to replace an older version of this one when the led lights started to go out. It nice and bright enough at the highest setting to act as a night light also.

Love the fact I don't have to set the alarm every night. That it's easy to set and you can change the alarm volume. That you can set alarm for two different times. That it doesn't take much room on a table.

ConclusionThere are some very good things about this alarm clock but it's design is flawed. The clock is too narrow and can be wobbly especially when trying to turn off the alarm. The alarm "off" button is too small and is the same shape as another button right next to it which can cause confusion in the morning. The variable dimmer is great and the alarm can be set for different volumes so it can wake up the lightest sleeper or the "hibernating bears". Overall recommended but could be better.The good - The alarm is easy to read with a display that can be set for 12 or 24 hour. The dimmer has five levels going from dim to bright and so you should be able to find the perfect light level at night. The two alarms can be set separately and the volume control can be set to different levels to suit any type of sleeper.The bad - It's all about design. The alarm is tall enough and long enough to provide a large, easy to read display but it is very slim. This means it is a bit wobbly which is a pain when fumbling to turn the alarm off. This is anothe example of a device that was designed by people who don't use the product. There are two buttons to control the alarm. The first is alarm pause which means you can turn off the alarm but it will ring 24 hours later. The second is "Alarm Off" which turns off either Alarm 1 or Alarm 2 or both permanently (well until turned on again" These two buttons are small, recessed into the device and next to each other. It's really hard to tell them apart without significant practice. The snooze button is also relatively small but at least it's a different shape. They had plenty of room on the sides and back of the alarm so why didn't they just put the snooze and "Alarm Pause" button on the top as these are the most needed buttons that a sleepy person wants to prioritise. You eventually learn the button layout but it can still be a bit hit and miss even with practice. Another case of bad ergonomic design ruining anotherwise excellent product. It's still a recommend from me but this could have been so much better with a little more thought.

One of my favorite purchases. If you need to wake up THIS WILL wake you up. Be ready to be startled though so if being awaken by sudden sounds is not what you’re looking for don’t get this but if you are afraid of over sleeping and need something like a person shaking you yep this is it.

Sometimes when I'm really tired I sleep through my fitbit vibrating alarm. I wear hearing aids & when I take them off I rarely hear a beep alarm, this bed shake works very well, I do not hear the beep until I am awakened by the vibration. I honestly haven't figured out all of the buttons, so it may be much louder than I think. The brightest setting will sometimes keep me awake, love the dimmer, I usually keep it on 1 or 2, that is still readable & it is very simple to change this setting.I just slip it under the sheet, I believe some may put it under the mattress, I think this works best for me. I think under the mattress would mute the vibration to much to wake me up.The only complaint I have is the lack of instructions, they are lacking greatly. You really just have to trail & error your way through using the settings.I do recommend this for any deaf/hard of hearing or LOL a teenager that doesn't like to roll out of bed.

Worked fine for just over 2 years; now the display has died unless display setting is max brightness.

I've only had this clock for a week but, so far, it works as described / expected.. It's attractive and easy to read. The vibrating function is very effective. If it continues to function as it does now I will be totally satisfied.

I seriously love everything about this clock except that in my opinion it could be a little louder. I got it for my boyfriend who had a hard time waking up to the alarm we had before. At the highest volume it's just not quite loud enough, but the vibrating thing actually makes up for it because instead of putting it under the pillow we leave it sitting on the nightstand beside the bed so when it goes off it's vibrating on top of a hard table which makes a very loud sound and wakes him up every time. It is so easy to set the time and the alarms and to use any of the other features it has, like dimming the brightness or turning volume down, etc. it really is a great clock, just wish it were a little louder.

Nice, large display, very easy to setup. The battery backup worked through a very quick power dip.

The alarm is loud and actually wakes me up when my old clock didn't. I like that it has two alarms, so I have a backup. Also like that the numbers are very large so I can see the time from across the room and that I can dim the brightness for my sensory sensitivities.
