I spent $5 on a spooler and got more than I was hoping for. Is it life changing? No. It's a cheap option that beats balancing a spool of line on a pencil between my feet. The first time I used it on my baitcaster it was a little uneven, but I fixed this by running the line through the lowest line guide. Not only does it work it's small enough to toss in my tackle bag in case I cause an unfixable bird's nest. Perfect. Worth more than $5.

I could never get it to tighten enough to stay on the rod. Maybe there's a diameter setting I'm missing Idk. I'm giving it 3 stars because it could be user error and it didn't cost that much.

Served its purpose, but plastic pretty flimsy. No instructions on how to use. Wouldn't clamp to rod like it should. Far below expectations.

It works but I found it slower than I needed for the sheer number of reels I had to rewind.

I am not a big fan of this product. I don't think it is better than just using my foot to guide the spool of line. It is not too difficult to setup but doesn't give you a great advantage or timesavings to get line on your reels. It iddn't cost much so it was worth trying it and seeing if it was a good value, unfortuntely it doesn't provide value to me.

It does not tighten properly on all my poles and you have to lay your pole down to put it on because it wobbled. I will get and better one are just keep passing and pencil in the spool holes and hold it between my toes like I have done for 40 years plus . My wife use to sit in front of me and hold the pencil and spool between her knees and toes with tension .But most of the time it distracted me and the line did not get installed at all .Good Luck

Worked awesome highly recommended especially to keep in your fishing box or tackle.
