This is a beautiful decanter. I got it as a gift for my art/design enthusiast partner, who is completely obsessed with it - his favourite present he got that year. It's quite a showstopper when we have guests, it makes a mediocre bottle of wine not only into an event, but also taste much better than it should (as most decanters will). When not in use, we leave it as a centrepiece on our mantle as it was too beautiful to hide in a cupboard somewhere. I would have liked if there were stoppers for the openings, for those evenings when we don't finish a full bottle, but whilst not pretty, cling film does the trick. We have plans to laser cut some wooden or cork stoppers in the future. Finally, the glass is thicker than I imagined and feels reasonably robust, though I'm always extra careful when cleaning or drying this and never leave it anywhere precarious. It is still glass after all..
