Cloud-9 Comfort Ladies' Saddle, 10" x 8"

After riding a bike for transportation in Costa Rica for a month I decided I needed a bike for home to do the same. I guess I was spoiled with the bike seats there, because when I got a bike I went through several and none were comfortable enough to ride on for longer trips (45 min is my usual commute). Initially what I really wanted was a huge soft cruiser seat. I have a really bad back and riding a bike can be rough on it and I also don't like having a sore butt after riding. I researched and read lots of reviews and decided on this one and I'm so glad I did. When I got it initially I was worried because I thought it would be nice and big, but it was actually smaller than my previous one. I quickly learned that the size of the seat is not what's important but where your "sit bones" hit the seat. I guess the wide seat was actually making it less comfortable and this one ended up being perfect!I'm pretty normal sized, 5'8" 130 pounds, hourglass kind of shape with bigger/average sized booty/thighs and smaller waist and this seat was just perfect for me. It's not too soft and not too hard. At first I thought I wanted a really big, really soft seat for comfort, but it turns out that a good fitting seat with the right support in the right areas and good suspension are what is important. Oh also how you have the seat adjusted! I had mine tilted in a weird way initially and when I adjusted it, it was so much better. I definitely recommend this seat for women around my size. I think it works best for a mountain bike, which is the kind of bike I ride. I like that it has enough room underneath it where the springs are that I can fit a medium sized chain through it to lock up the seat as well since bike seats in my town get stolen ALL the time. It's nice to feel secure that no one can take it easily. It has a standard adjustment, very simple to install even for me (and when I put a basic desk together it generally ends up either rocking or tilted so that's saying a lot).

My wife and I started riding a pair of Velotric Discover Ebikes together last year. It's been a lot of fun. Some of the places we go can get somewhat bumpy so i decided to upgrade our seats to tame the trails a bit. First, I upgraded the seat post on my bike to a suspension unit and thought my ride was pretty comfortable. She on the other hand is petite so our choices of seat posts and /or seats were limited due to her 5' height and light ( 120'sh#) weight. . Turns out this seat , combined with a straight ended Azarxis suspension post did the trick. Not only did this combo allow me to set the seat low enough for her but the combination actually flexes and absorbs shock well for her. The seat especially is sized just right. Not to wide, not to narrow. Not too hard, not to soft. She now loves it and can get through our average 15-20 mi rides with allot less soreness. To be honest, I tried the combination and was amazed at how it too near all teh vibration and shock out of our bumpy street.

I have ridden miles on this seat. Yes, after about 20 I will get sore still, but before this seat I was sore after 5 or 6! I still wish it had even more gel than it does. I guess because of where the pressure ends up when you're on a bike, it is really hard to design a bike seat that can totally relieve that pressure. I will say the seat is wide enough for a woman's seat bones, which are wider than men's and why a more narrow seat is truly uncomfortable for us ladies. It had lots of great reviews and that swayed me to choose this one. Of course that was probably 7 years ago now and I've been riding comfortably on it on many bike trails around the country where we've RV'd. Biking is a great sport, but if you don't have a good seat, you'll never enjoy it even if you buy the best bike you can buy. I would recommend this seat!

Easy to install & adjust for personal fit. External springs & seat construction provides long distance comfort without having to wear padded cycling shorts. Street clothes can be worn for a comfortable bicycle commute. No need to change clothing. So impressed, purchased a second saddle for another bicycle. Affordable. Good looks without it being an "old person" saddle. Great compromise of functionality & form.

Although I don't dislike this bike seat, it isn't quite as comfy or cushion-y as I anticipated it being. It's definitely more comfortable and padded than a stock bike seat, and I do appreciate the fact that it's wider, allows for greater support and surface area for your buttocks, and the fact that it still looks "sport" on a mountain bike. The shocks also work well on these and don't you don't feel the bumps nearly as much or as rough when riding on uneven terrain. I just expected that I'd be able to go longer than an hour on my bike before my butt couldn't take anymore and an hour tops is about all I can do before my bottom as had enough and needs to get off of the seat before going completely numb!

We were not enjoying the seats that came with our new eBikes, so we did some research and found that these were highly rated. So far, it's our favorite upgrade. Easy to install and quite comfortable.

Another women warned about her bits being uncomfortable. I should have heeded her words as this seat was very uncomfortable. I did get some relief if I tilted the seat somewhat forward but then my butt hurt more. I'm a small women so not much padding and looking for that additional comfort for a pleasure ride. I kept thinking it would get better and then my bike was in for repairs so missed the window to return. Not sure how they got all the positive review unless they were sold with a bike purchase. You know it had to be bad as I never write reviews.Now I am still searching for a truly comfortable seat.

I love this bike seat!When riding around on the seat that came with my bike, I was constantly uncomfortable. My sitz bones are just far enough apart that I could never sit with both sides on the seat. It lead to a lot of uncomfortable rides and back pain from constantly holding myself above the seat.I started looking around at other options, and, after comparing A LOT of bike seats, bought the Cloud-9. My first ride I teared up because I was so happy I was finally able to ride without pain.This ladies seat is wide and cushioned perfectly. Comprados para remplazar el asiento de la bici estacionaria que tenia el asiento super estrecho. Ahora puedo usarla mas y estar cómodo.

This was a very expensive, supposedly comfortable bike seat with very good reviews. Upon trying it, both my husband and I found it excruciatingly painful. I even, for the first time ever, experienced spasms in my butt - very unpleasant. Don't waste your money on this seat.
