Seems like a well made cable. Quite thick and difficult to bend and can hold its shape a bit. Seems very durable along the cable itself and at the connectors. Works very well with Oculus link and I've been using it for seated experiences with the Oculus Quest 2. I would say it's not really long enough for anything near room scale VR. The cable is advertised as 10Gbps although when I test it with the Oculus software the result is 2.9Gbps. I'm not sure whether this is the maximum bandwidth required for Quest 2 or whether it is false advertising for the cable itself. Running the debug tool and increasing the bandwidth to the Quest results in very smooth looking games with no complaints. Oculus have not switched on 90fps for Quest 2 as yet, but when they do, I'm sure 2.9Gbps will be more than adequate to deal with it as I also have used Virtual Desktop at only 866Mbps to run games at 90fps. I would say the gaming experience with a cable link gives a smoother and more reliable experience than virtual desktop which can stutter a bit depending on your wifi network strength/speed. At the £16.99 I paid, i think this is unbeatable in terms of quality for a 3m link cable. Recommended.

I bought this for the Oculus Quest 2 as the official cable was just too expensive. I've been using this cable a little while now and can confirm it works at 2.9Gbps over a USB 3 connection. The braided cable with L-Shaped connector makes it incredibly easy to route around the headset with the included Velcro tidy as the headset strap is fabric, This in turn prevents any strain on the USB-C connector on the Oculus Quest 2. Games & 360 Videos work fast and look good. Using this on my desktop PC the device charges whilst in use but with my laptop it slowly loses charge, However it has never turned off during play so I cannot complain. Great Cable & Smart Purchase.

Bought for use with oculus quest 2 and works great for a fraction of the price of the official cable. Negatives, as some other reviews have mentioned, the braided cable is very stiff and possibly not ideal for vr. The cable is very long so will likely be folded for storage and the cable then holds this shape. A softer cable would likely be less restrictive but it depends on your usage if this is an issue or not (I mainly use for sitting while driving in vr so not a problem). Also the 90 degree connecter can be awkward as it will cover the headphone jack on the quest if you want the cable to run to the front of the headset. Easy workaround just to use the 90 degree in the pc and straight connector in the headset. Overall very good and happy with the product but not perfect

How many more people will keep buying the Official Oculus USB cable for £90... Please do not waste your money on that USB cable !! - Same goes for HDMI cables !! I wince at people spending £200 on a HDMI cable when a £2 does exactly the same, I digress though...Back to the review There are plenty of cables that will work fine with the Oculus VR headset and they all cost far less than £90 The reason I purchased this cable is because it looks very smart. There are even cheaper ones out there that will work with the Oculus just read the reviews and do a bit of research. Set up the headset with this cable and got 2.9 GBPS connection speed.. Happy with that! Only minor issue is the cable is very thick and heavy so I would recommend if you are moving about is to get a clip to attach the UBS wire to the headset somewhere. Will help taking the strain off the USB port on the headset. This cable has worked very well with Quest and now Quest 2. It is a little on the stiff side, but not too bad. I have it plugged into my graphics card at the back of the PC tower (an RTX2080ti) and it worked from the start with zero problems. The two issues that may bother some are firstly, the plug is not ideal. It's a horizontal right-angle, as seen in the description images and while this would be ideal for using when seated and close to the source, as it can go round the back of the headset strap and be kept well out of the way, this does mean there is less spare length to play with - and this is the second issue. It is not ideal for standing in VR, because it has to hang free to the front to be long enough to not hinder arm movement too much. You have to think about it when using VR in this way, so as to avoid catching the lead. However, it can be done. Roomscale VR is not an option for obvious reasons. To sum up, I would definitely recommend it for seated VR, where you are close to the output. I sit at a large PC desk, where the output from the graphics card is about 1m away to the side. I would advise caution if it is required for standing VR, but it does do the job, and to look elsewhere (i.e. wireless with Virtual Desktop) for roomscale.

This replaced the terrible cable that came with a monitor. With the old cable, there was no positive “click” when I inserted it. Bumping it would make me lose connection to the monitor, and when my laptop came out of sleep, it was a coin-toss whether or not the monitor was still connected. If not, I would have to unplug, wait 5 minutes and plug it back in. Now, with this cable, all those problems are gone. There’s a definite “click” when I insert the cable. It is stable, no bumps cause a disconnect. Coming out of sleep, the laptop is always connected. It handles charging just fine, and I’m running 2560x1600 video over it as well as USB.

This is the best cable I've bought in terms of build quality, at least I thought it was... I bought this for my oculus quest 2 to hard link to my PC. This worked twice and since then will no longer transfer data between either my oculus or phone when linking to the PC. In effect it's now only used as a charge lead although how long that will last considering I've had the lead 3 months! Value for money....well, it's cheaper then the official oculus link cable so that's a plus, if yours will operate in that function for more then 3 months! If your after a charge only lead then there are cheaper options available. Durability... The lead is still perfect, no links or bent ends. It's only been used twice and bought solely for the oculus. When not in use it's kept safe in an oculus carry pouch so not left around to get stood on or wrapped up tightly and shoved in a draw full of other tat. Construction of this lead is not cheap and you can tell the moment you receive it. Just a shame mine seems to not work as intended.

Perfect length from the back of my PC to my 2m x 2m roomscale play area. Using the Oculus app, it gives me the expected (and same as the official cable as far as I could tell) 2.5 Gbps speed, despite the official speed for this and the official cable being 5Gbps. Everything is clear, and the graphics are SO much better on OculusPCapp / SteamVR versions of games compared to the Meta Store version for standalone play on the Quest 3. Well worth it and so much cheaper than the official cable. Good thickness - pretty sure this will last me many years.

Acheté en remplacement du câble Dell d'origine pour connecter un XPS 13 à son écran qui fait aussi station d'accueil, je fais tout passer dessus : sortie vidéo, alimentation du portable, ethernet, souris (USB-2), webcam (USB-3), clés USB. Les débits sont excellents, j'ai bien du Gigabit sur le port éthernet. Le câble d'origine avait une connexion instable quand on déplace le PC, celui-ci reste en place.

I use it with my desktop PC. My usb C is a good one that can deliver 30 watts of power. So this cable can charge my quest 3 while using it without any issue. Add to that the connection is 3gbps which is even better than quest original usb cable. This cable is recommended because it's length and quality will provide the lowest latency possible.

Um meine beiden Surface zu laden, habe ich mir ein Aukey Omnia 65W Ladegerät gekauft, das ohne Kabel ausgeliefert wird. Mir fehlte also noch ein USB-C zu USB-C Kabel mit Power Delivery. Passend zum Ladegerät sollte es weiß sein und für den seitlichen Anschluss am Surface an einer Seite einen angewinkelten Stecker haben. Zu diesem Kabel hier von Fasgear lagen noch keine Rezensionen vor, aber die zu anderen Kabeln der Marke waren nicht schlecht, weshalb ich es dann auch bestellt habe. Die Verarbeitung ist sehr gut. Die dicke Ummantelung macht es lediglich etwas steif. Die USB-C-Anschlussstecker sitzen reingesteckt sehr ordentlich, da wackelt nichts. Kurz zur Farbe: Die Stecker selbst sind grau, das Kabel weiß und grau mit Zackenmuster. Wenn man auf dem Produktbild genau hinschaut, kann man es zwar erahnen, ich hielt die grauen Elemente aber bei der Bestellung für weiß. Mich stört es jetzt zwar nicht, wenn jemand aber Wert auf ein komplett weißes Kabel legt, dann sollte er/sie sich woanders umschauen. Dam Kabel liegt ein Klettband bei, um es für unterwegs oder zur Aufbewahrung zusammenzubinden. Zur eigentlichen Funktion: Das Surface wurde so schnell geladen, wie mit dem großen original MS-Ladegerät (Das Surface Go 2 lädt werksseitig begrenzt mit max. 45W). Das Fasgear-Kabel lässt also genug Ladestrom fließen und stellt nicht den limitierenden Faktor dar. Damit erfüllt es voll seinen Zweck. Was andere Rezensenten noch checken könnten: Gehen auch die angegebenen 100W durch und wie sieht es mit der Datendurchsatzrate (angegeben bis 10Gbit/s) aus? Beides kann ich mangels geeigneter Hardware nicht prüfen. Sobald ich es kann, berichte ich aber gern nach.
