Very clever product. I am not the world's greatest cook but I like to make eggs over easy on Sunday morning. My problem was that I almost always broke the yoke when I tried to flip the egg in the pan. If I didn't break the yoke, the egg would sometimes fall out of the pan. I know this is purely a user error but this handy gadget allows me to grab the egg and flip it without any hassle. I did find that it works better if you squeeze the handle toward the bottom (the egg part) so the egg is securely held by the spatula. For the price, this solved a problem and is very effective. It cleans up easily and is durable. I have been using this for some time now and I am completely happy with its performance.

I like this item, but it’s a little flimsy.

It works, but it has a learning curve. You need some finesse to get this to work flawlessly while flipping an undercooked egg. Yes it does pick the whole thing up and hold it in place but if the yolk is still pretty rare you cant just turn this over slowly or at the wrong angle or the yolk will still move and sometimes break and make a mess. You can either cook the egg longer or get some quick wrist flipping going so it rests back down before any mess can happen. I wouldn't use this for other applications where it is exposed to hot oil in the pan, as this type of material has melted in hot oil for me in the past causing it to disfigure

I bought this for a friend just to say thank you. She loves it. I will soon be getting myself one.

I cook eggs almost every morning. I like mine with the egg whites fully cooked with the yolks soft and lightly runny. So I flip when the whites are almost done, wait a few seconds, and then they're done the way I like them.I wanted to love this tool but it fell short of my expectations. The spatula is nice and thin but it is still difficult to slip under the egg without jabbing the yolk and breaking it. If you like the yolk hard, then this would be no problem. It's hard to get the egg more than half way over the spatula, therefore, the tongs won't grip the egg when you want to flip. Everything has to be lined up perfectly to avoid puncturing the yolk and balanced just right to flip over. Too much work for me, so I will returning the product.

This egg spatula works like a charm! It even makes me want to eat more eggs so I can use this spatula.

Too flimsy for eggs or thin ham slices. Doesn't open wide enough, so you have to use a finger to open it wider at the handle, which just makes it even more awkward. Handle at wrong angle to flip anything over straight. Might be OK (??) for burger patties or something similar, but definitely does not work well as shown in the picture(s). In all, very disappointed.
