Easy to use and works great
This EBL battery charger has been super reliable. The LCD display makes it easy to see charging progress, and the 4 bays let me charge AA and AAA batteries at the same time. It’s smart enough to detect battery type and charge appropriately. Great for remotes, flashlights, and other gadgets.

super basic charger - love that it's USB-C chargeable
after fumbling with the EBL charger that supports D size batteries - I've had my eye on this compact one I can put in my laptop bag - it's perfect! it's super convenient to be able to reuse my USB-C cords and charge AA and AAA batteries - the size we use most often outside the house. It's great it also has a micro-USB input as well so it increases the chances of having either cable on hand. While on a camping trip, I was pleased to discover our 10W solar panel was able to supply enough juice to trickle charge a pair of rechargeable headlamp AAA batteries all day. I've since learned there are more sophisticated portable chargers out there (more stats, testers, enhanced charge cycles, 18650/21700 support, ones that double as power banks, and even similar small form factor chargers still capable or charging C and D batteries!) - buying this charger was my gateway to doing additional research (afterwards!). Save yourself the trouble & ask yourself if you want any of these niftier features or if this EBL charger will do just fine for your needs. At the end of the day, I was surprised 18650/21700 support don't cost that much extra so it's worth a look since these batteries are higher capacity (than AAs) & often very well tested against their claimed capacities!

Meets expectations for rapid charge but marks battery casing
Performs exactly as stated. The one quirk, and hence the 4-stars instead of 5, is that the AA battery covering gets marked through by the AAA contact that sits underneath the AA battery... Since the contact is the same voltage as the AA negative terminal there is no danger from this but it does do cosmetic damage to the batteries....

Cheap individual charging with small profile. What more do you need?
I love this little charger. It goes great in our family kitchen junk drawer to charge those pesky batteries from the little kids monstrous noise makers. Individual charging means you can charge one at a time which is a feature I like. Doesn't take up much space in the drawer. Cheap enough to keep one in the garage for charging headlamp batteries when working on cars. I'd buy again.

All-around great charger
Works great with Eneloop NiMH cells. Love that I can use any USB power source to charge batteries, and the screen is a nice addition.

Plug in before putting the batteries in
EDITED: after a few uses the charger started turning on properly even if batteries are put in beforehand or not. One still needs to wait a few seconds when disconnecting and reconnecting the USB power for it to power on though. --- Original review --- The charger would power on ONLY if it's plugged in to the USB power BEFORE putting the batteries in. The charger does NOT power on with the batteries already in... Additionally, after unplugging the charger from USB, one needs to wait approx. 10s (with batteries out) before plugging the USB power back in - otherwise the charger won't power on either. I originally thought I received a damaged product and ordered a replacement. However, the replacement displays the same behavior. If plugged in to the USB power first, then the charger works as expected, charging 1-4 batteries at a time.

Charges 1, 2 '3 or 4 at a time 👍
I really like the way you can charge batteries 1 -4 mix n match at a time and it shows charge status . The AA & AAA slot is easy to use as well . Id buy one again.
