I use it on both my face and body, especially during drier months, and it does a great job keeping my skin comfortable and moisturized for hours. What I really appreciate is how gentle it is. There’s no fragrance, no irritation, and it works well even on areas where my skin tends to get dry or reactive. A little goes a long way, and it spreads easily, which makes the tub last a while. It’s especially helpful for rough or dry patches and feels soothing right after application. Overall, this is a straightforward, no-nonsense moisturizer that does exactly what it’s supposed to do. If you have sensitive skin or just want a dependable cream without added extras, this is a great option and one I keep coming back to.

As good as advertised, I have psoriasis and this cream cools & calms the itch. Goes on easy, spreads well, no fragrance and non greasy. It has great thickness but not too thick like some paste. I rank it up with my favorite CeraVe intense moisturizer but this cost less. I am extremely pleased with this purchase.

Great lotion. Major complaint below. I’ve loved Vanicream because it moisturizes and “seals” without causing breakouts. I basically use it as my occlusive outer face cream (lighter-weight serums and moisturizers on first) and for slugging. Goes on matte, which is nice for under makeup or with no makeup. Excellent for dry winters! My one complaint is that this pump bottle is not the right shape for this lotion. The lotion is so thick that the last 30% or so just sits at the bottom at the outside of the bottle, not within reach of the pump “straw.” Picture a donut of lotion inside the bottle. You can’t pump out product after that, unless you are constantly banging around the bottle to try to “center” the lotion again — which defeats the purpose of a pump for me. I wish the company would choose a different pump, or folks here can recommend how to get the second half of the product working in this bottle!

I waited to write this review until I used the product for about six weeks. I can honestly say I've tried it and I love it! I did not want to use skin creams on my face before, because I am prone to breakouts. I decided to give this a try because my skin, while still prone to breakouts, has gotten a lot drier, and I hated going around with dry-looking, dry-feeling skin. I have been putting this on morning AND night after washing my face. It absorbs quickly and leaves my skin feeling like I've been to a spa! I don't know if I look any better, but it sure makes me feel better! Actually, I feel like it gives my skin a finished look, which is about as good as it gets since I don't wear makeup. (I did wear makeup one time over this skin cream and had no problems with it.) Reasons I love it: - Great price! - Absorbs well! - Leaves my skin feeling nurtured, pampered, and soft. - I've had no adverse reactions; no rash, itchiness, redness, or breakouts.

I have horrible eczema and dry skin in general. This is a good lotion to use. It doesn’t seem to break my skin out. Helps with the dryness and makes your skin more moisturized. I will be buying it again, maybe just not in such a big container. It lasts a long time. It’s a good amount for a great price. I’ll attach a picture below. I do recommend it for people with eczema especially. The size is great! Lasts for a rly long time!!

This stuff is the real deal. I can't believe it has any reviews lower than 5 stars. My skin LOVES this cream. I have purchased creams and moisturizers from high-end brands and spent hundreds of dollars. None of those products compare to vanicream. Not only is it budget friendly, but one jar will last you MONTHS. I have combination skin and am prone to the occasional eczema flare up. My biggest skin issue has always been how dry and flakey my cheeks get. My T-zone is very oily, which I can handle, but keeping the skin on my cheeks moisturized has been a struggle for years. I regret not learning about this product sooner. The first night I used vanicream, I woke up the next day and my skin still felt soft and bouncy. I was impressed. I continued using vanicream every night for several weeks, and I can't believe the positive effect it's had on my skin. I am not overexagerating when I say this stuff has been a game changer for me. Thinking about all the money I've wasted on name brand products makes me cringe so hard. I had such a positive experience using it on my face that I also tried using it in the bend of my arm when I had a small eczema patch appear. The next day it was cleared up. This stuff healed the eczema the same way cortisone cream does, but minus the addictive steroid! I've been using it on my face, body, and hands now, and I've not had a single negative experience yet. Now, onto the specifics. I saw so many other reviews complaining that the cream doesn't immediately soak into their skin, and that's so silly to me. If something is working for you, why complain about such a minor issue?! Yes, you have to rub this cream in well. When you first apply it to your face, it looks like you just applied a glob of sunscreen. Depending on how much you apply, it's going to take a minute or two for you to rub in the cream. I usually apply it before bed when I'm doing my usual nightly skincare routine and I have the TV playing in the background. I just watch whatever movie or series that's playing while rubbing in the cream. This stuff works so well I could not care less that I actually have to put effort into applying it. Is this a good morning cream to apply before makeup? No. Use a lighter moisturizer for that. From my experience, the formula does not work very well with makeup on top. This cream is great to use at night, before you go to bed, so that it can work it's magic while you sleep. It's fragrance free. For anyone that is sensitive to smells, you don't have to be concerned about that with this product. In terms of consistency, vanicream is somewhere in the middle. It's not super thick, but it's not runney either. One of my favorite things about this cream is that it's noncomedogenic, aka, it won't clog your pores or cause acne. So for all my acne-prone friends out there, you don't have to worry about that with vanicream. This stuff is also usable for people with sensitive skin. Being eczema prone, my skin is pretty sensitive, but I haven't experienced any negative effect from it. I really just love this stuff and my skin loves it too. You can feel it absorb into your skin, and even hours after you've applied it, your skin literally feels moisturized and bouncy. Also, because I have combination skin, my T-zone is usually pretty oily, but this cream hasn't caused any excess oil for me. I'm not sure what else to say other than to give this stuff a try. I was blown away by its effectiveness. The fact that it's so budget friendly makes me even more satisfied. No more spending $80-$100 on moisturizing creams, and that's honestly a relief in and of itself. If this review was too long to read, just know this cream is amazing, my combination/eczema prone skin loves it, and for the first time, in a long time, I feel like I've found a solid product that truly works for me. The bottle is old, yellowed, and scratched. There is no clear indication of whether it is unopened or has been tampered with. Extremely poor packaging overall. BUT after using for 1 month I would say this is the best moisturizer I have used till now. Absolutely no allergic reaction (I have a very sensitive skin) but yes it's a bit thick.

Tengo tres semanas usándola y veo resultados maravillosos en mi piel con rosácea, está muchísimo menos rojiza, muy hidratada y se siente más tersa, además de que no me sacó granitos. La uso como crema de día y noche y no afecta la textura de mi maquillaje, una gota del tamaño de un frijol es suficiente para cubrir el rostro y el bote trae mucho, durará muchísimos meses a como le estoy dando el uso. Si tienes piel grasa como yo y la usas por la noche, despertarás con la cara muy grasosa, simplemente limpia tu cara como siempre y vuelve a aplicar, ya que no es comedogenica y no saca granitos.

This is amazing compared to other creams. It relieves 100% of skin irritations.
