Don't buy this!
I bought it expressly for the purpose of being able to crimp larger ferrules. It doesn't come with any instructions for adjusting the size of the crimp and it comes set to crimp smaller ferrules, which I can do with a less costly tool. Upon opening it, I set it down and the retraction spring fell off of it.

Will not crimp small or large ferrules.
Smallest ferrules fit in crimper, but do not crimp tight onto wire. Large ferrules do not even fit into crimper. This is the tool for you If all you want to do is crimp medium sized ferrules. It really is a piece of junk.

Great tool
Easy to use...it self adjusts depending on the size ferrule. Perfect crimp. Definitely a great tool and at a reasonable price.

Just received this item, packaging was open, damaged and dirty. Obtusely a return item but got charged full price. Didn’t test the tool yet.
