Save hay! Save money!
We are just the average "weekend warrior" horseback trail riders on a couple of acres with 3 horses. We were going through hay like water. Some of it where it belonged but way too much of it on the ground, stomped on and wasted. At first, I bought one slow feeder to see how it would work. It didn't take but a couple of weeks to realize I was saving at least a bale every other day. Bought 3 more. Now I pack hay in once a day and the horses "graze" for 24 hours. No more waste and they forge all day (and night) like nature intended. Rating could be higher after I have had them for longer. I have only had them for about a month and a half, so I don't know about the durability and sturdiness.

It's A Big Bag!
First impression...the bag is gigantic! I knew I wanted a larger hay bag...but, this one is a little larger than I imagined. It easily holds 3-4 generous flakes of hay, which I like, thinking it would keep my 19 y/o laminitic-prone, heaves-y, I/R mare busy longer (who is fed soaked hay - so this bag makes that chore I little easier). The holes are a little too small for my mare and she gives up working at it after a while and walks away (I thought I ordered the bag with a little larger holes - but, perhaps, I misread the description). As she's currently housed on a miniature 'track system', she comes back to it frequently...so, I suppose, in that respect, it's working (she doesn't finish all her hay in one 'sitting'). I don't like the fact that the bottom of the bag isn't reinforced. I secured the bottom of the bag as well as the top, but she ripped a hole at the bottom seam because the bag isn't designed to be secured like that. The string the netting is made of is very soft, so I like that. I've only been using this net for a short time, so ratings are based on the hole in the bottom from trying to secure it. We'll just have to wait and see how this bag holds up long-term...

WORTH THE MONEY
I can easily fit half of a 100lb bale in each bag. There are 3 strings to keep the top shut that broke from the net but if tied correctly they stay tied. Worth the money 100%

Inexpensive, reasonably durable slow feeder hay net
I'm not sure what people's problems are with these things. This looks exactly like the last one I bought, except there were only 4 ties instead of 5. This is basically an economy slow feeder net, don't expect it to be like the high dollar ones, you get what you pay for. It is put together with thread - including the ties, so if you are not careful how you tie it, the ties pop right off. They still work as long as you don't lose them, and if you take care to always tie them properly, they will stay attached for months. My prior net lasted 11 months before they chewed holes in it and this looks to be the same stuff. Since it saves me much money on hay over free feeding I am well pleased with the money spent. You can toss it in the washing machine or dump it in a bucket of water. Slows them down and keeps them happily munching for much longer than free feeding. 1.5 inch, knot-free holes for slow feeding.

Hay net
This is a great hay net for the price. I have bought it 3 times now. I have two large horses and the net hangs between their stalls on the fence. I fill it twice a day. They aren’t gentle with it and it still lasts around 8-10 months!

Durable, Hardy, Large, and Affordable. 3 Months In and Very Happy
This is 4x cheaper than all of the other bags I've found and I've literally had zero issues with it. It's worked perfectly. I've been using this for 4 donkeys for 3 months and couldn't be happier. Saves on hay waste and all donkeys can graze for around 4-6 hours before it needs to be refilled. No holes as of yet so no complaints at all. Will be ordering this one again when the time comes.

It is a Like and Dislike
The Like is: I can fit a large bale 4x4 flake that if folded in half into this hay bag. That is a good amount of hay.The dislike is: I wish the holes were 1inch by 1inch. I know it doesn't SOUND like much of a difference, but it sure makes slows down on how fast a horse can pull the hay thru the holes! I normally buy Partrade 1-inch by 1-inch slow-feed hay bags, which is my preference because of the SLOW FEED process they allow. So like I said, it is kind of a give and take situation. And depending on your horse, you may have to add additional ties to the top of the bag so the horse can not "steal" hay thru the (untied) opening areas.

Good and has lasted
It's held up really good the past two months with consistent use. I can fit a whole square bale in it.
