Nice set, the box looked a little old
This is a nice set for Christmas. I guess because it is a retired set, the box is a little old looking but it's still in good condition. Cute little figurines for a lego loving kid.

She loved everydays treat! Lego does it right!!!
Our 7 year old daughter loved it everyday. It was easy for her to assemble. The added scenery piece to put all the pieces on and play with it all makes it all make even more sense! We kept it all snd it’s a little fun playtime winter scene that we added to her Lego Gingerbread house she got last year too! She’s been playing with it this year almost everyday since we got it all out! I wish I would have looked for one this year but I definitely will for 2022 cuz this years advent train calendar from Amazon is a big waste of money & a joke!

Fun advent for Lego lovers
The picture shows days 1-5 as we are still patiently waiting to open one window a day at a time from now on.The kids love the anticipation of waking up each morning, finding out what number we are on, and opening the window to reveal the newest lego surprise! And the back of the opened window tab provides images on how to assemble! Not sure why a review was upset about the Lego figure size... She is a smidge taller and leaner but can fit in other lego sets by planting her feet on Lego pegs. There is however no holes on the back of her legs to have her sit connected like the traditional lego figures and her height *might* be an issue if you are trying to sit her in a traditional lego vehicle of some sort, but to my limited knowledge Lego Friends has always been designed a smidge different.I should also add I'm quite pleased with the amount of 'spares'--we seem to get a few almost every day so far (day 1-5 has only been opened). Nice to have extras as it is easy for little things to go missing!

Our children love this annual tradition
This is the 2020 version of the Lego Friends advent calendar. We buy a lego advent calendar annually, and our kids thoroughly enjoy opening a new window each day. We have bought the other versions of the Lego calendar in the past, and they are all equally enjoyable. The toy for each day is stored, unassembled, in a tray that sits beneath the numbered calendar. You can slide the tray out of the box without damaging the calendar, which allows us to insert small pieces of candy or other items in each compartment to add to the fun. NOTE: unlike previous years, the builds in this year's version of the calendar do not appear to have the ability to be used as hanging ornaments. We've been doing this for over a decade, and it has become a big part of our family's Christmas traditions. And, when we are done, the kids have more Lego parts to add to their ever-growing collection.

Great value for fun legos!
This advent calendar was a huge hit for us! Not only did my 6 yr old love it and look forward to opening it daily, so did we. As far as legos go this is a great value! You get a lot of really cute characters and scenes plus plenty of little extras in case of loss. We did have a few times when it was hard to decide what the item was meant to be because my daughter totally ripped the door opening and the image is on each door but that was easily figured out, just be careful when opening each day. It would be nice if it came with some sort of list for parents but it wasn’t necessary. We really enjoyed this, if Lego has a new one next year we will absolutely be purchasing it!

Missing pieces and extra pieces
We had open so far 23 days and I was debating between 3 and 4 stars. So far we had some days with missing pieces and other with extra pieces. The very first day, the doll Emma was missing her hair, that was a huge disappointment for my 4yo. Each time I had en extra piece, I couldn't stop thinking of the kid that is missing it and probably won't be able to assemble de full set. It was easy to assemble for my 4yo, she put together the toys every day without any help. I have decided to do not do anymore lego advent calendars for now on. This was our first advent calendar.

Lots of fun!
I love this LEGO Advent Calendar. There's a door for each day of December from the 1st through the 24th. In the past, we used a reusable wooden advent calendar that we put little surprises in for each day of December leading up to Christmas day. Since my daughters LOVE LEGOs, this will be a great addition and makes the countdown to Christmas that much more exciting. Each day beginning on December 1, they open a door which reveals a new gift for them to build. I can't wait to surprise them with this starting in December, but I'll still use my old advent calendar along with this as it allows me to place different gifts other than LEGOs.

Perfect for my girls
This was the perfect advent calendar for my two girls (6&8). We have one advent calendar we do as a family every year and my parents always get them the chocolates one as well. So we just ordered one Lego calendar for them to share. They switch off each day to see which Lego set they get next. We usually do the advent calendars at night, but they are so excited each morning, they open it right before breakfast. They have already gotten a Lego friend, elf, fireplace, letter with pen to write to Santa, and a pet (hamster I think). If Lego makes a different one for next year, we will definitely get it.

Fun for Advent
Kids love to count the days until Christmas! This LEGO calendar is a fun way to count. Given to a 9 year old who likes LEGOs. Sent one "Friends"last year too, but this "Friends" one is different - so more fun again.

Mistake on one day, now missing one set & have double of another.
My daughter loves it, but she was disappointed when she got the wrong packet to build on one of the days (got the ice cream scooper when the picture showed it should have been the hamster, table & pretzel... so she is missing that now)... today she got the ice cream scooper (correct picture), so she has 2 of them & is missing the other set. We’re definitely disappointed about that. Otherwise it’s been great.
