Built tough and great for limited space
First, be sure to talk to a doctor or PT before using a device like this for an injury. Depending on where you are in your healing, this can be either a curse or a godsend.A year ago I couldn't sit down, could barely walk, and couldn't sleep for more than 4 hours at a time due to a herniated s1 disc. I'm much better now thanks to physical therapy, doing the assigned exercises and this inversion table.Pros: well built, sturdy, ankle pads are comfortable compared to other tables I've used; doesn't take up as much space as you'd expect; one of the few that will get you fully invertedCons: it does take up some space and though it folds easily, it is heavy to move when injured (though with help it fits easily against a wall (don't put it against a wall if you have young kids) or under a bed)One of the best purchases I've made. The best for my recovery.

FYI >>>>> You need gravity boots instead of the worthless ankle cuffs
I had one of the original teeter inversion tables from the 80’s.The original was a very simple and lighter design. The original came with gravity boots which I still have and have been using. I got rid of the table about 20yrs ago. The nylon table just wore out and was just hanging and doing sit-ups from a suspended bar. With these gravity boots I was even able to hang upside down with 25# dumbbells.I do agree with others that the ankle cuffs with this new one needs a new design.I wear high top basketball shoes with my boots so I tried using them with the new table and ankle cuffs.I even added additional foam but could only last 2.5 minutes before my heels started to become very uncomfortable. So I removed the cuffs and the lower bar and used my original gravity boots from 45 years ago along with my high top basketball shoes and I am now able to hang totally inverted for over 10 minutes with minor discomfort.

Money on this purchase well spent!
Purchased this Inversion Table for my wife and I recently. She has scoliosis and I have lower back issues and sciatica nerve pain occasionally. I was hesitant about purchasing an inversion table since we had never used one, but we haven't gone to the chiropractor in quite some time and needed something to help with pain relief and stretches.I knew that I wanted a brand name table and didn't want the cheapest ones due to safety concerns and the fact that we're talking about equipment that deals with our backs so I wanted to get something with a well established name and history. The fact that Teeter has medically certified and qualified equipment is what helped sell me.Needless to say, my wife and I use the inversion table daily, and sometimes multiple times a day. I am 6'1" at 240 lbs, and she is 5'3" and lightweight, so we needed a table that easily adjusted between heights and weights and this table does that easily and quickly with little to no effort. The table also has an adjustable or removable lumbar and acu-point knobs which can be regularly adjusted and moved around to specifically target needed areas of the neck and back for pressure and relief. The table assembles easily and instructions are very clear and precise. We began using the table immediately and with its quick and adjustable settings you quickly learn how to adapt it to yourself and others to the point where balance can be attained simply by breathing in or out, or by moving your arms and hands with just a stretch or slight movement. Until purchasing this equipment, I was unaware that inversion tables could be properly setup to balance based on something as simple as breathing or stretching your arms slightly, and always had a preconception that you had to pull yourself up out of inversion or that someone had to assist you. I'm unsure of other brands or their models, but Teeter is perfectly designed and its use does not require others to be present or any efforts to easily reinvert yourself with anything other than simple body movements of the arms or knees.I like that this equipment has shown me that something as simple as breathing affects your balance and also helps manage your pain. This table definitely has made noticeable improvements in my sciatica pain relief and it utilizes my weight as a benefit to stretching out my back instead of compressing it. I forsee much larger benefits to utilizing this table while additionally losing weight thru dieting and exercise.I strongly recommend Teeter to anyone on the fence about purchasing an inversion table, and am glad that I chose this particular item. For future purchases I will likely look at their higher end tables with more features as the money used on this purchase was well spent!

Works perfectly and safely
So helpful for my back pain. Incredibly sturdy. Includes a strap to limit how for you’ll invert but isn’t required to allow for full inversion. Easy to bring myself back up as well.

DO NOT BUY THIS- It HURTS
Two Key Points Below:I am an active, petite woman with back pain from herniated discs. My husband purchased this for me while I was doing some research into seeing if an inversion table would help.1.The Teeter only made things MUCH MUCH WORSE. After using for under a minute, the following day I literally could not walk. The pain in my back was unbearable. My husband felt horrible, but said “Maybe it’s a fluke, let your back settle and try again another time.”So, I waited a few weeks and tried again.NOPE, my feet literally went numb, my back pain was so unbearable that I had to go on a steroid pack.2. YOU CAN’T RETURN WITHOUT THE ORIGINAL BOX. Yeah, we had to rip the box open in parts to get the thing out. We also recycled the box immediately because it was damaged. The company will not accept in another box. Why???? The cost of a box is minuscule in the overall transaction. TEETER simply wants to make it as difficult to return as possible so that you won’t.Also, before you buy, look at your local Craigslist ads or Nextdoor app for inversion tables. You will GAZILLION tables for sale. So save yourself money. We can’t even sell ours on CL or ND because the market is flooded with them. So we just use it as a laundry hanger.
