Yes, they stretch well. My very sensitive daughter finds then quite comfortable.

Will the xxl fit a girl that wears a sz 14? and do they shrink when washed?

I don't think they shrink. Especially if y you wash your clothes in cold water. My daughter who is a 14–16 where is the XX large and they are quite been on her, especially in the length. I don't think you will be disappointed. If you are just return them.

What size would a 7/8 be?

Hello, a size Medium should be equivalent to a size 7/8. The size chart says it fits a height of 51-54 inches and a weight of 61-70 pounds. My daughter is just over 49 inches and only 55 pounds but can still wear them well in the waist with some length to grow into.

what would a girls size 7 be?

for nine years I bought X-large and she is little chubby. She fits XX-large by this time
