Nice, but think I will only use on small groups

Bought these for a wedding shower. Every one loved them and asked what they were made of. They looked like regular everyday plates. Most were thrown away, but I kept and washed some. We had a taco bar so they didn't get soaked with anything. They stood up to salsa and beans and dips, guacamole, etc. They didn't bend , crease or break. Quite sturdy for other heavier type foods too. There was no transfer of smells or tastes to the food, no one got sick from using them. They was no weird smell from the package. I did open them up the day I received them to check and air out, although, I do that for all non washable plates I have used. We also used the small plates for pastries and cake, no soak through. I do have a garden and compost bin. I took one plate and burried in the ground. Will check on it periodically, for breakdown. I love the look and feel of the plates. Much, much better than other foam, plastic, cardboard plates. I will be using these, as long as they break down in the soil without any harm to environment. I can't save the planet on my own, but I can sure as he!! do all I can!

We used these plates for a fundraiser and everyone commented how nice they are.

I've used a few different bamboo or palm dishes but I've most enjoyed this Dtocs set that comes with dinner plates as well as smaller plates that could be used for appetizers, desserts, or salads. Like many other people, we are doing much more outdoor cooking and hosting because of Covid, and it was a pain to use my regular heavy, breakable dinnerware. But I refuse to put more plastic in the landfill! Once these palm plates are used, they go straight to my curbside recycling bin, along with whatever food, bones, etc. are on them. No broken dinnerware, no dishes to wash, and many compliments from guests!

I love the DTOCS plates. I also bought bowls and silverware, because I need a break from washing the endless dishes. Since the pandemic started, it's like I'm running a restaurant over here. And if I were running a restaurant, I'd order these items, because they look great, go in and out of the microwave, and I can throw them out without feeling environmental guilt.Great product.

Wish I had read the reviews more closely. The package arrived open and the plates were moldy.
