Does it compare to a pocket, IWB, or OWB holster?
I'm a picky consumer who will value function over nice to haves. Usually, I will test out a concept and if it works for me, I'll go all in. Well that is the case with this belly band style holster I purchased on Amazon (of all places).I purchased a belly band style holster that actually didn't come up the the initial search on Amazon (search "holster band"). However, while looking at the many $20+ offerings, I decided to sort the results (low to high) and found this (Creatrill brand) for only $8.99 ($6.99 if you are a lefty).I wear a 36" size pants and I usually need a good belt if I use a pocket, IWB or OWB type holster. Without a good belt, my pants will start sliding down to my hips. I hate that feeling. With this band, I decided to order the 54" model, just in case they come smaller than indicated like many things on Amazon. I figure, I can always cut it if it was too long. After placing the order, it arrived in 2 days. I didn't have much expectations since the paper envelop package was soaked after sitting outside in the rain for most of the day until I got home. But, to my surprise, inside was a nice waterproof packaging that looked pretty legit.Taking it out of the package, I see a neatly rolled band with another package. I didn't realize it when I ordered but it also comes with 3 magazine pouches that attach to the band via "hook and loop." So, that was a unexpected but nice surprise. Then, I put on the band, not too tight because other bands make my skin itch after wearing them too long. I tried it with my 43x, it disappears. I try it with my 19, it disappears too. I even try it with a revolver with the same result. When I mean disappear, I mean that I no longer feel as much weight and the printing is as avoidable as reasonably possible. Nicely secure with a snap on latch. Very secure feeling. I don't think I'll have any issues with a full size like Walther PDP.I've been raving about my 43x because it feels like it disappears with a DeSantos pocket holster and my iwb kydex holster (Concealment Express). My 19 was feeling bulky and heavy with my iwb kydex (Concealment Express) holster. Well, with this belly band type holster, both feel great, the weight almost disappears which was one of the main advantages the 43x had over the 19. The only advantage the 43x had over the 19 using this band holster is that it is thinner so it prints much less. I think the width of the band helps distribute the weight well (not like a belt with a thinner width).Anyway, I really don't write reviews very often, but I'm pleasantly surprised at this $9 belly holster. From a value perspective, I think it is well worth it. From a functionality perspective, it solves a problem for me because it feels comfortable no matter if I'm carrying a 19, 43x, or revolver. No regrets whatsoever. If I buy another one, I'd get the smaller 44" model. Pocket, IWB and OWB holsters all have their place depending on what you want to accomplish. From a comfort perspective, I'll stick with this belly band method.

I don’t think it’s safe to use this at all.
My review is based on safety and not the item it’s self. I needed this to use on daily basis, but I ended up not using it at all. The purpose of having a firearm, is to protect ur self and those who around u. Having a firearm without anything to protect the trigger it’s a bad idea. I personally carry with a round in the chamber. Having nothing to protect the trigger, is like I’m asking for a disaster. Item it’s self it’s really nice for the price. But not safe for me.

Good for Compact.
Good support back support is a bonus. Holds compact nicely. Fairly breathable, but if you live in a hot climate, you're going to sweat a lot. Like the extra pouches. It's nice that you can easily rotate it to a different position if you are wearing it while laboring (construction or landscaping, or whatever). Happy with the purchase and would recommend. If you are planning on wearing it chest high, order the larger size (although I don't know why someone would).

Good CCW Holster - BIG Bang 4 the Buck!
I'm a big dude... 5'11"... 250lbs... this holster works great... fits snuggly, with plenty of extra length if needed... holds my larger and smaller frame pistols, no issues. The extra magazine pouches are a good bonus. Glad I purchased it.

Worth the money and fully adjustable.
This thing is great and does what it suppose to do. Its literally like a glove and conforms very nicely to your torso and conceals everything in it if you're wearing a loose fitted shirt.

Great band for not a lot of money
It fits and holds my G17 without issues. I use the band when I am in basketball shorts, so it's usually when it's warm out. The band breathes better than your typical elastic band, but you will notice it.

Great buy for larger guys
Good for fat guys, I had an iwb holster And it was so uncomfortable with my fat belly. This is much more comfortable and seems very sturdy. I weigh 265 5/11
