Best Gloss Coat for Highlights on Wargame and D&D Minatures
I have tried many "gloss coat" products over my past 40+ years collecting and painting miniatures for warming and D&D. 'None so far hold a candle to Testors. Thisd product give as nice gloss sheen to swords, hikts and other shiny bits. Tip 1: use a very clean brush! Like many of the traditional - best - Testors products, this requires thinner and may act like a thinner. If you use a dirty brush your gloss coat may have as tint. Tip two: throw three or four brass - not lead - beebies into the bottle to make mixing easier. 'Great product.

works very well
again the star rating should be good enough for most products forcing a written review before it will except a review is nonsense unless you want to write something if it continues I will just stop reviewing products all together..

Good solid product for model makers.
Durable, fast-drying, and a small bottle will go a long way. It's not as glossy as similar brush-on products I've used, but this one is more permanent. I have only used it on small areas, but it did go on smoothly. It's very fluid, it's not viscous at all. If you are doing a larger area, you might prefer the glossier coat provided by other spray-on products, but for small areas and brush detailing, it's good. The fact that it's shiny but not overly so would actually be an asset for miniature work where touches of shine are needed, but where TOO much shine would make the piece look fake-y.

Good stuff. Needs to be very thick
If you dont put enough on it isn't awesome. A very thick coat (apply with brush in opposite directions at least 3 times) it will work work great

Shiny and Protective
Very shiny. Great for giving that extra sheen to miniatures that need it. Also fairly durable in case your project gets rubbed up against something.

Do not use with Vallejo model paints!
Worked well with MyArtScape and Golden Acrylics. When coating over Vallejo model paints, the paint got dissolved and was brushed away! :( Clean the brush with turpentine after using, as water will not dissolve the lacquer.
