Good quality classroom or beginner set
These small blocks of encaustic paint work great to teach beginners. Lots of color variety and the paints don’t wipe off when rubbed over with solvent like a cheaper brand I tried. I have ordered multiple sets of these.

seperates when fused
I just got done using this medium on an experiment piece.When I go to fuse it, the pigment separates and looks like a hot mess on the board. I tried it by itsef, then mixing it with the medium. Same reaction. The quality is nowhere near R&F.IF you like the shellac burning look, this has a similar look. Which can be useful.

Quality paints lots of variety
I absolutely loved that these were vibrant and you and need a small amount! It will certainly go a long ways. Great value and having doubles is great so if you need a piece to touch up you have it ! Can't go wrong!
