Nordic Ice Refrigerant Gel Pack NI16 - (36 Ct)

As long as you treat these carefully and don't abuse them, they work well and don't easily leak. The plastic is thin, however, so if you expose them to any rough handling, the outcome will probably not be good. They're quite cheap, though, so if you lose some, no biggie. I think they're really intended for one use, but I've been swapping a couple batches in a cooler for more than a month without visible wear. They're nice and flat and a good size, easily freeze overnight, and seem to stay cold much longer than ice.

These work very well. I have a larger version by the same company, but couldn't find that version for sale any longer. This comes with 36 smaller bags, 5.5" x 6.75". The good news with the smaller size is it is possible to put in smaller lunch size coolers. The bad news is they get lost in larger coolers. It may be good, because there are more cold packs closer to the items in the cooler, but it can be a pain to have so many dispersed with all the other drinks or food items. To resolve this, I simply put 4 of the cold packs in a gallon freezer zip lock bag. This makes it easy to store in the freezer and easy to find in the cooler. The gallon back is about the same size as the old version I liked so much. It works very well. And this way, should I ever need a smaller ice pack, all I have to do is remove one from the gallon freeze bag. The best of both worlds.

We give frozen items, such as fresh dates and raisins away. These are nice to put inside the gift sack to keep cold until the recipient can get them home. Also, use all summer long to send food items home with others after a party, or even people who work for us. These will last us quite awhile. Glad to have them. Came in perfect condition. Thank you.

Poor quality:( I ordered these because I was able to reuse the same brand for years. They came from companies that used them to keep medical supplies cold. Since I ordered them here they have failed. One tap and they bust/leak. Not sure if it’s a knock off or if Nordic has lowered their standards.

These work well and last a long time, but the covering on the packs is not really durable. Fortunately they are cheap enough that you can throw them away when they are damaged.
