Great product Would buy again

Americans aren't familiar with this wonderful spice yet. I bought my first can of HOT (picante) Spanish Smoked Paprika about 5 years ago, and its now one of my favorite spices. It is only mildly hot, and the heat gets diffused in cooking. I use it on hamburgers, beef/lamb steaks, lamb shanks, and most stews, plus almost all Mexican dishes and even on fried eggs. It just has a grand haunting flavor that makes me reach for it most times I cook.My first can was Pimenton de la Vera made by Safinter, which I used up in no time. I couldn't find that brand so I bought some other hot (picante) smoked Spanish paprika, and I didn't care for it at all. Finally I found the 'good stuff' on Amazon. I bought both a can of picante and a can of dulce or sweet. I seldom use the sweet, but it is excellent also. If you get the four-pack you save a lot of money: Keep 2 for yourself and use two cans for Christmas presents. Don't make the mistake of buying another brand, and be sure it is "Smoked" as that is where the unique flavor comes from.

This is the first time ordering from this vendor but the other vendor went up on the price so I came here. My sister turned me on to this brand Safinter and it is by far the best smoked paprika you can buy. I will NOT buy any other brand. The store bought stuff is just no comparison. It really changes the quality of your dish that you are cooking using this stuff.
