Bestway193467 Pool Test Strips

Do not buy this. It is totally unreliable, and dangerous !!!I would not know this and might have used improper chemicals to treat our above ground pool but for the benefit of having a good quality ph test instrument. The Bestway product gave dramatically different readings. And the other two readings were ridiculous and indicated our water was unsafe.

Comes in several sealed tin foil packs. Not one strip from the first sealed pack worked! Very disappointed. Not worth the cost and hassle to send them back. So unless this was just a dodgy pack, I can't recommend you buy them. I will go back to the 'Clearwater' strips, a little more expense maybe but worth it. They show, chlorine, ph balance and alcholinity very clearly.The colours on the bestway have no resemblance to any colours shown on the container. I put 3 strips in at the same time because I was so disappointed, to check if I could trust the readings and couldn't believe in the same dip test there was 3 different readings (none of them accurate) all showing non-existent chlorine, when in reality the chlorine level was actually adequate for bathing. Hence you could potentially over chlorinate to compensate for a bad reading - these strips are ineffective. Sorry I cannot recommend.

Bought at the same time as another brand that we've used for a while as these are a bit cheaper. Been using them alternative days to the other ones and they seem to be accurate. Only problem is we've had a couple of strips that didn't work but on the whole they are good strips.

Received this morning, opened one of the three foil packets (which contained 20 strips). Because of the negative reviews previously on this product, I thought I had better check. Tested the water with on of these strips, and compared it with a Clearwater strip I had been using previously. Exactly the same results - good product :)

Still testing these out. Not quite the same as I have bought before but seem to work well - and very cheap in comparison.

The set comes with clear instructions printed on a durable package. The testers are stored in groups in foil wrapping and are a use and throw away system.The amount of test strips received was actually a shock to me because of the low price that I payed.The tests definitely last a whole season and are a good indication of your water quality.5 stars, I would leave 10 if I could.
