Impressing food processor
First I don't need to take a picture of my unit, it looks just like the online photos. Second, I purchased a Hamilton Beach food processor that was around 40.00. It failed, the inner slicer blade broke, very dangerous and I since worked through my warranty with Square Trade to get it replaced and I also worked with Target, neither helped me. I had to go direct to Hamilton Beach. Anyway long story short, I opted to buy this one as the design for the slider blade was different, it was given the title to be "Professional" as well, but was three times as much money. So, I dug into my pockets and purchased this direct with the warranty department direct with Hamilton Beach (Who by the way took very good care of me and they stood behind their other product that failed). My review of this one: I am very impressed. I love the ease of use and the very large bowl. My biggest use has been spiralizing zucchini, which works great and super easy. The clean up is a breeze. A few spots where food gets caught in the blade device and the lid, but nothing like the other one and I simply use a brush, they even provide a brush in the box to use. The unit itself seems substantial and rugged. The plastic is maybe a little more stout than the cheaper model. I love the pusher tool, it is large and holds nicely in the hand, it even has a metal gripper at the bottom to hold onto the food item. I have been using it more than the other one simple because it is easier to clean and that really helps. Don't get me wrong, there are pieces to clean, it is not just a knife that you are cleaning.... so I understand that it has multiple parts and just do it. I find that cleaning it just takes less time, not sure why but it does. I like the storage case they give and no, it does not fit all pieces, so keep that in mind. I have not used all parts yet, I have a Kitchen Aid blender so kneeding dough I would most likely use that. The sound it makes is loud, but I don't seem to mind it. Very few settings that adds to its ease of use and less things to deal with. I mainly use the pulse button. I have had it now in use for about a month and so far I really like it and yes, I would recommend it. I also purchased the Hamilton Beach Juice Masticator and that is probably the BEST appliance I have in my kitchen to date, I freakin love it. So far for the price I rate HB very high for their higher priced units that are made better than their lower end models. If you use these kitchen tools a lot, I say don't go for the cheaper ones, they will not last or their details are perhaps not as good as the better models, at least on these. I think Hamilton Beach has done a good job on these better models.

Has all of the functions I need!
Great power and durability and has all of the functions I need for cooking and baking! I got tired of chopping onions all the time. I bought a smaller and more basic product first, but it didn’t have all of the functions I needed. This one has tons of functions and is easy to use. It’s very easy to clean in the dishwasher and by hand, but it’s wicked sharp, so be very careful! I use it frequently for shredding zuchinni to make bread, it’s amazing. It is a rather large machine, so make sure you have room for storage. I’m in an apartment so I had to be creative with space in my cabinets, but it is worth it!

Love Using This
Love this food processor. Super easy to clean and use. I recently cooked with a couple of professional chefs for an impromptu dinner party for about 30 people. Both took the time to volunteer how much they enjoyed the stability, power, and ease of use that this food processor delivered.

Great Machine
I was not the one that ordered this machine. My mother and family friend did. They gifted this machine to me, as I was starting to process my garden down for the summer and they saw that it was taking too long for me. Once I got the machine in, I used it right away as I had veggies stacking up. This machine, took the "hard" work out of cutting and chopping. It was a great gift at the right time. I love how everything stacks inside the container and only one blade stays within the machine. The only thing that I wish it would have - somewhere - either on the side (inside or out) is that it shows you how to stack the blades. Meaning, which blades go first and so on. It can be confusing when trying to put things in. But that would NOT make me want to buy another one.

Broke within 15 minutes of processing overboiled sweet potatoes. Sad.
I had bought a Hamilton Beach Food Processor years ago and I only ended up looking for another one because I foolishly processed some coco coir plant matter which ended up scraping the bowl up pretty bad. I was loyal up until this recent buy, given that my previous food processor is still more than functional even after 4+ years. Unfortunately, that particular model is no longer being sold (I wonder why...), but I thought, I can trust Hamilton Beach! Nope. I'm convinced the prior model was discontinued because it didn't need to be replaced. I purchased this food processor and it broke in under 15 minutes of use -- processing mushy sweet potatoes of all things. Not rock hard coco coir. Not even extended use. Heck, I was using the pulse function with breaks in between and in under 15 minutes of a boiled starch, the motor broke. It still made sound when pressing buttons, but the motor that rotates the blade just stopped working. Also the way the lid locks sucks. It's a lid with rubber gasket that is pressed onto the bowl. The bowl with lid combo is then secured to the base with an awkward metal handle that isn't easy to use, looks pretty ugly, and doesn't give me confidence when it "locks" in place. So disappointed -- and no, my sweet potatoes weren't even fully processed by the time the processor broke. I finished them off in my old, "obsolete" model. Poor durability. Poor results. Wasted my time having to try and fix what was going on. Wasted my hopes and dreams. Definitely will never buy from Hamilton Beach again. It takes just one bad, bad new product to make lose confidence.

Although this food processor requires quite a bit of storage space I would give it 5 stars for all that it does. I mainly used it for shredding cabbage to make sauerkraut. I love the adjustability of the slicing blade, the spiralizers and many other functions. But none of that means anything when the bowl is made of such poor quality plastic that just falling over in the sink created a crack that runs all the way from the spout to the base. I can not use it for anything even semi-liquid now. This also taught me something about customer service at Hamilton Beach. After I sent them an email, I received an automated response telling me that someone would contact me soon. That is more than a month ago and nobody from Hamilton Beach has bothered to get back to me. Like many other people, I feel that customer service, or the lack of it, can tell you a great deal about the company. Although I have a few Hamilton Beach products I certainly will steer clear of them in the future.

Won’t spiralize small carrots even though whole, waste pieces when spiralizing. Haven’t tried anything else yet.
