This is a great stylus that even works on our older iPads, so my kids have been fighting over it. There are a lot of apps it can work on and even works in games in place of your finger. The only downside is that it turns off if you tap the tip at all, so that can be frustrating to a younger child (5). 7 year old prefers this stylus.

I absolutely hated my Apple Pencil bc it had so many issues with Bluetooth, charging. Etc. I decided to try this instead and I’m so glad I did!! It doesn’t require Bluetooth connection and it works perfectly. EDIT: MAY 2022 the pencil now skips when I write and I can’t even write a straight line. I have to hold it at a very specific angle to get it to work EDIT: NOVEMBER 2022 the pen has now stopped working entirely. It is fully charged but will not write at all. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT. There are plenty of other cheaper options on Amazon that you don’t have to replace every few months.

Pen that was received was a Smartix brand - they don’t work with iPad after looking them up so my iPad isn’t picking it up to work. Didn’t state on packaging or ordering it was. Highly dissatisfied and will be returning.

Let me first say that I am just beginning as a hobbyist in digital art, so this is definitely NOT a professional/expert review. That said, this is a handy stylus that basically works right out of the box. However, the instructions in the box were for a slightly different stylus. The charging port was on the side instead of the end, once charged the indicator light turns green instead of blue (who cares?), but there is no on/off switch as indicated. I was starting to get a bit miffed on how to turn it on when I accidentally touched the rounded end, and the green light came on! Viola! Perhaps you seasoned veterans already knew this , but it would have been nice to know for this newbie. I have an IPad Pro 10.5” and found it difficult to find an aftermarket stylus (didn’t want to pay $100 to Apple for hobby). Quirky things I found: When writing, every once in awhile, a word will vanish in the middle of writing it, however if you change the angle and try again, it’s fine. Not sure if that’s something inherent with all stylus’ or just this one, but a minor inconvenience to me. Anyway, that’s it. Hope this review helps you decide!

Bought back in November and at first it was terrible, but I had to work with it so here are some tips. 1: it works WAY better on a ‘paper like’ screen protector. Skips way less 2: A grip or pen cover, whatever you all it basically kiss the skip all together and if you get one that has a back piece you won’t accidentally turn it on. Battery life was never bad for me. I draw with it all day and I don’t think it’s ever died on me. Unfortunately here we are 3 months later and the tip is dull and scratching up my screen protector. They don’t sell spares. Over all its not worth it , had to buy 20$ extra worth of product for it to even work ‘just okey’ buy a apple pen off Facebook marketplace

I should have paid more attention to the pictures. I thought I was purchasing a generic of the pencil gen 1. When I got it, it had a metal tip, not a soft tip like the original brand. I'm giving this 5 stars since it did seem to work great, but I returned it bc I was wa ting something that had a similar tip to the name brand.

Went straight back from where it is coming from… can connect to my iPad but no palm recognition, just does the same as a finger: can’t even write with it! Rubbish!
