BROTREE Small Carabiner Clips Mini Locking Carabiner - 6cm Aluminum D-Ring

Use these for my house and car keys so that I can tether them to the inside of my rucksack or water bottle or whatever else I am using. I had previously been using a very chunky twist lock one which was a bit overkill so was looking for something smaller/lighter, but still secure. The mini locking screw works well - it does come loose from time to time but I tighten it whenever I remember and hopefully that'l keep everything secure.

These mini carabiners by Brotree are nice and fairly well made. They were a little bit smaller than I expected but it clearly states the size on the website but still I didn’t visualise them being so small. However I’m still happy with them and will be using them for my keys mainly.

Brotree create some fantastic products. I liked the 12 KN large carabiners a lot, so when these Mini carabiners came out, I had to try them.First of all, pretty much a “standard” size, and generally the most useful. I’ve taken a photo next to a 50p. These clips are perfect for keys, water bottles, clipping your neck strap to a saddle with the aid of paracord (ok, not the most common use to be fair), dog walking. They are lightweight and seem really strong. I tried both the locking version and the standard clip. Both feel smooth to the touch and have no sharp edges. The spring action is strong and returns home every time. On the locking version, the knurled cylinder winds up easily and doesn’t seem to move until you want it to. Always a good sign. The carabiners aren’t rated for climbing, but I’d say they are suitable for most tasks. I would have any fear using them to hold up a bike for storage when combined with paracord for instance.On the whole, great bit of kit and the colours are a really nice touch!

Good quality, works well.

Perfectly adequate lightweight carabiner for hanging fly fish items. Strong enough to secure items like wading staff and or scoop net lanyards. Finish holds up well in fresh water but needs to be washed and oiled immediately after use in salt conditions. If you’re mainly a sea angler buy stainless steel.

A nice little barrel locking krab, tested the load limit and it coped fine with 5kg for 10 hours, so more than strong enough to hold those water bottles securely.It's very lightweight as you'd expect from the materials used, so for added security on storage it's worth using even when trying to keep pack weight downBeen testing it out for a week now and no complaints, only warning would be to watch out for overlocking the barrel.
