It is faster than my Garmin 12" display that was purchased a year ago and the beauty of this Active Tab is that I can Dock it using the RAM MOUNTS (RAM-101-B-SAM52PD-V7BU) in any one of my four boats to keep all my critical maps, tracks and tidal info on ONE DEVICE!! Even when as a Captain on a Guest's boat... I can have my best navigational tools with me. If you use AquaMaps App or the Navionics App, this tab allows you to have both running in one screen so you can see all the needed data instantly. Even when running at speeds in excess of 100+MPH (Skater 40SS Cat with Mercury Racing QC4V engines) the GPS is rock solid!! The replaceable battery gives a full day's power at nearly full brightness... I bought a second battery but have yet to use it! If you've ever wondered if Aqua Maps is worth the price of buying the Master plan... look at the difference in detail!! If you need a tablet for Marine Use... look no further! Samsung should offer a commission I recommend this tablet so much!! I actually think this is my first review on desertcart... so give it a Thumb's Up if you found it to be helpful!
