Even with a quality Schuberth helmet, wind noise while riding my motorcycle was starting to really bother me. I had been using foam earplugs which helped a little, but they were not real effective-and they were uncomfortable once I put on my helmet. As soon as I put these in I noticed the difference. Comfortable, not “bulky” they stay in place, and the noise reduction was amazing! And it wasn’t just the noise reduction-it was the fact that the filters inside the plugs allow you to be able to hear your engine, sirens, music, navigation instructions, etc. The carrying container is really nice as well….clip it right on your bikes’ keychain and you’ll always be ready. You also get a second pair of earplugs and replacement filters as well. Overall a very good product at a great price made with quality components. Very highly recommended!

Fits well. Except for dampened noise feels like it's not there. Make sure to have the tab facing up so it's easy to grab. Helmet just slip over ears like they're not even there. Seems well made and high quality. Works very well. I ride a Buell XB12 Lightening with a LOUD aftermarket exhaust that sounds great, but on long rides - even with regular hearing protection and closed faced helmet - starts to drone and when combined with highway wind noise. These completely eliminate that affect. When riding it's like the engine sound has been tuned to leave out everything but the best notes of the engine. Wind noise was non existent! Great EPs, wish I had bought a set YEARS ago.

I purchased these as my first set of earplugs for motorcycle riding. I ride a pretty loud bike and they did a great job of dialing down the loud, however they work a little too good. I use a cheap comms system and without earplugs i ride with the volume about 25%-50% at all times, but with the earplugs i have both chat and music turned all the way up and i cant really hear it them. Im not too sure if the red vs gold filter colors are tuned for different db reduction, but they just dull everything down too much. Wind noise reduction is pretty good and they are super comfy. I went on a 5 hour ride today doing anywhere between 60mph and 90mph and they were perfect minus the music and comms sound.

These work great to save your ears from wind noise. I did a motorcycle test run yesterday, for science, which was about a 60 mile ride and beautiful weather. These performed great and stayed in place the entire ride. What's more is they make the experience so much better and I've been riding for ~20 years and 90% with full face helmets. I can still hear traffic and horns but wind noise is dramatically decreased. The case is a perfect addition to your key chain and convenient. I will follow up on longevity but they give you 2 pairs and quality seems really good and easy to wipe clean. They are also comfortable, even with my helmet slightly pressing on my ears. I'm very impressed with these ear plugs.

These ear plugs are AMAZING!! I rarely ever leave reviews, but these dampen my GSX-R’s loud track exhaust, wind noise, and allow me to hear my helmet speakers still if not better by blocking sound I’d normally hear while still keeping the volume enough to hear traffic around me. I had another pair made by alpine, but my cat decided to make them disappear one morning since I left them out. These are such an upgrade! More comfortable, comes with a keychain, my helmet doesn’t push against them, and blocks sound so much better due to the better fit! They’ve made me love riding my bike even more & even come with a spare set. Thank you!

They fit great, greatly attenuate wind and road noise while allowing you to hear music and conversations. I have a VERY DIFFICULT time getting these out of my ear. The pulls are not long enough. Had to use tweezers to remove them. Others have made the same comment.

Provides added noise protection & they work well… Worth The Cost & From My Personal Experience, I Can Recommend Them

So I was boucing back and forth between foam earplugs and my noise canceling galaxy buds 2 pro for when I'm on my motorcycle. The galaxy buds are far superior and also offered a music option. But now that I have a cardo, the galaxy buds are pretty much overkill while riding. But that's okay because they were hard to keep in the right position while I was wearing my helmet. Especially while putting the helmet on and taking it off. So now the Softvox earplugs come into play. Foam earplugs just weren't enough for wind buffeting noise and they also put pressure on the inner ear as they expand. Definitely didn't feel good. The Softvox earplugs are better at blocking wind noise but still allowing me to hear my music and phone calls. It reduces the decibels of the environment and seems to work really well. I'm happy with the purchase and at this price point, especially getting (2) pairs in the box is a good deal in my opinion. They are fairly comfortable. Just make sure to put them in your ears properly by lifting the corner of your ear like an ear exam. You don't have to jam them in, just a gentle push and it's fine. I also didn't have any issues pulling them back out of my ears like some people in reviews have been saying. If I had to rank it, from best to worst; (1st) would be the galaxy buds 2 pro's, (2nd) the Softvox earplugs, and (3rd) generic foam earplugs.

Have used these on the motorbike travelling at 110kms (legal limit) and found they cut out most of the wind noise, made it easy enough to hear my podcast, and made my ride more pleasant. Was able to hear just fine after the my ride, which isn't always the case. I recommend these to any rider.

Exelentes, hacen su función, son muy cómodos, y el precio es muy bueno, recuerden que no son para no escuchar sino para bajar el ruido y mitigar los sonidos que lastiman el tímpano :)

Son unos tapones aislantes del ruido. Los use en un paseo largo y me funcionaron muy bien, además traen una cápsula de aluminio la cual la puedes colgar al pantalón y así tenerlos a la mano para usarlos y/o guardarlos, trae 2 niveles uno te aíslan al95% y los otros a un 80% Muy buen producto.

These earplugs do work for greatly reducing noise while riding my motorcycle, and last night I wore them to Wolfmother concert in Sydney -- I was amazed at how they reduced the loudness by roughly half, and my ears weren't ringing like crazy afterwards. I don't find them super comfortable but if I don't push them in too far then it's possible to forget they're being worn. Also pushing them in too far. muffles sounds too much. I wonder how much better ear plugs with specialised music filters sound?
