NOVA Medical Products Tip and Grip Replacement Kit, Black

Although this is made for the Nova brand cane, it worked for my friend's generic brand cane. I think there is a standard size for these things so it should be universal. My friend slammed a car's trunk lid on his cane, and his cane's handle split wide open. He was really attached to the cane so he wanted to replace the handle versus buying a new one.So the most difficult part was removing the remnants of the old handle grip. To apply the new one, use some light dishwasher soap and water, and the new grip just slides right on. The tip on the bottom is a similar routine. The handle grip felt better than the original, and the tip for the bottom had great rubber material.The price for this was very surprisingly low, as it was a lot cheaper than another brand for the grip alone. I would highly recommend this for anyone who wants to save a few bucks to refurbish a cane or simply avoid getting a new cane.

Cheap and comfortable thats why I bought this . The only thing is don't sit your cane against your back bumper because when you close your tailgate and it catches the cane it will cut the foam wide open . I did this several times and took glue and glued back cuts back together. A++++

Needed a replacement handle for a 20 yr. old quad-cane. the tips were recently replaced but the original foam handle was hard from age. I followed the directions for installing (dish washing liquid & water mixture). Went on very easy, let it sit over night, & now it's nice & tight. Works perfect. Handle gives me good, comfortable grip now. I saved the tip for something else if I ever need it.

I recieved this today so my review is based off a couple hours of use. I bought this for a wooden cane with a rounded “candycane” handle.It took some effort getting on but soap and water helped a lot. I was concerned this grip wouldn’t work with the shape of the rounded handle but it works and looks beautifully.It didn’t have any smell and is soft enough to use for long periods of time. I am very happy with this purchase so far.As for the tip, I haven’t used it yet as the cane I got this for already cane with a rubber tip which was not specified in the description however I will update his review in time once I get more use out of the grip and use the tip.Hope this helps!

It fits perfectly on my "Standard Hospital type" cane. It's also nice to have both the tip, & the foam handle grip be the same color (my previous ones were not).

Serves well for the purpose in which it was purchased.

Worked perfect for my grandpa's cane. His grip fell apart leaving him with a slippery metal handle. Initially it was hard to get on, so I grabbed a little cortisone and put a dab on the cane and the grip slide on with ease.

Got this for the 1080BK-1 bariatric cane. The Grip fits, the tip does not. Too small. I believe Nova states on their website that this is the one to use for the 1080 cane.

I have purchased a hole cane cheaper. live and learn
