Great Exercise bar good value for the money, nice sturdy grip.

I bought a 25 lb version of this bar and I have to say it performs as expected. If someone needs a specific weight and doesn't have room for standard barbells, this stands neatly in any corner. Note that for many people, 25 lbs is a "recommended limit" for this kind of exercise device. Why? Because it's a bar rather than a small weight, and it is possible for it to become unbalanced, or the user to become unbalanced. Same issue as with barbells, except the weight is evenly distributed along the bar. I give it 5 stars for being well-made and working as advertised, but as with all exercise equipment: use with care and make sure of your stance, balanced, and method of handling. For me, I think the 15 lb version would have served better for the general toning I was going for. That however is a matter of personal choice, not a flaw in the device itself. In my case that 25 lbs is right at my "handling limit" so as a result, I don't use it as much as I might use a lighter bar. On the other hand, I can use two 10 lb individual weights with no problem (20 lb total)... so the bar format makes a definite difference in how it is used.

I would give this 5 stars but the padding on the bar is damaged. So far it has not interfered with my workout but will be a problem in the future. I have the 20lb bar and there are a litany of exercises that I can do at my desk in the middle of a stressful day. I am very strong and this is the heaviest 20lb bar I have ever felt. I recommend this bar and I hope yours does not show up damaged.

This has been a great addition to my home gym! The bar is completely wrapped in foam so it’s very comfortable to use.

I purchased the 8lb barbell to supplement my at-home workout routine. The package arrived on time and in perfect shape. The weight has a soft cushion so I can comfortably lift the barbell and hold it with my shoulders. Overall, great product!

Love the cushiony feel of this bar. I might have to buy a heavier one. The 15 is good but as I build my strength I know I will need more weight. Great quality.

Great Product

I love this thing. I got it to give me the sledgehammer workout, but I found that because it is distributed evenly, it's more like a Claymore workout. So I've been swinging it around like a madman with a sword and the weight of it causes a lot of muscles to be used simultaneously. I'm using my core, legs, back, chest, arms, everything. In under ten minutes, I'm sweating and panting like I just survived a fight with the "Mountain". Definitely recommend it, they have various weights, would probably recommend a lower weight so that you can go for a longer period of time without getting tired. I also use this while doing sit-ups, squats, and shoulder presses.
