My charging cord for my Eureka died I found out that Eureka is out of business and with difficulty found this unit Although it is overpriced it works

This thing is huge
The charger does seem to work and to charge the vacuum, but it is about three times the size of the original plug. With this unit, you have 3-4 foot cord plugged into the wall, then a giant charging adapter, and another 3-4 foot cord. If you had your original plugged in behind a cabinet or something, so just a small cord was visible, you won’t be able to do that with this one. It’s just an eyesore.

Does NOT fit the Eureka NEC-180 like it states
Seems they list all sorts of numbers in hopes people will think this is a great item. It will not fit the NEC-180 by Eureka. Not that it would not work….it would not fit at all. Will never know if it worked. Sent it back. I am buying my third one to try out. With Eureka discontinuing their lines left and right it is hard to find replacement parts. You can’t find filters. My suggestion is if you are to purchase a vacuum, any vacuum, here on Amazon that you buy all the attachments and replacement parts right off the bat, because often these are the items that are going to be discontinued right quick and you will be left without any recourse for your needs.
