Essential Products BL01002 Black 10' EZE RV Gutter

My camper trailer window has a leak. The window has a production flaw which allows for water to seep in backwards through a weep hole. I tried different approaches to fixing the problem without having to seal the sliding glass part of the window in place. Nothing worked, I couldn't access the trouble spot. I came across this Gutter system on Amazon and decided to try it, since I was out of options anyway. It only took a few minutes to install and now there are no more leaks. The window still has it's leak, but this gutter diverts the water from flowing down across the window in the first place, so it doesn't get a chance to infiltrate. It looks great on the trailer too, like it was put there by the factory. I appreciate simple products that do their job. I fight with my Windows 8 laptop all day long so it was nice to get something that works without having to jump through hoops to get there.

I attached about a 4' section of this on the black trim above my driver's side window of our Class-A RV. Our RV does have factory "gutters" but like many Class-A's, they suck! My gutters stop above the Driver's window, so any water from the roof (including A/C water) drains right down my window. Yuk. This product really handled the issue nicely. It comes tightly rolled up in a circle though, so you'll want to straighten it out in a warm area for a while before trying to attach it. It has very strong double-sticky tape (also very thin) that is holding up nicely on my RV after a few months of use, but I would NOT attempt to attach this until temperatures around you are at least in the upper 60's, preferably warmer. I wish I had pictures to share. What you would see is, well, nothing! That's because I attached it to the black window frame. If your RV will accept that sort of install, I must say that it's very nice!

Arrived in good condition. It's a high quality material and fairly flexible. I unrolled it and let it sit in my hot van for a few days so it could fully uncoil and relax. Cleaned the area well and stuck it on. Seems like it's on there really well. Time will tell. My only complaint is it's fairly expensive for what it is, but all the other options are expensive as well

Used for camper over windows. The slight curve at each end doesn’t adhere well. Straight is ok. Works to keep condensation off camper.

Installed this because the gutter on my RV was terrible. I installed it just above the factory gutter Have been over 1000 miles since doing so and they are working well. Put it in the sun, or on a heating vent to warm up a bit before installing and it will be flexible and easy to install. Can be cut easily with a razor knife.

Put it in the sun for an hour prior to install, and it flexes and sticks very well. I cleaned the area above my windows with rubbing alcohol first. Was easily able to shape to the curved radius of the windows. It does a much better job than the built-in smaller metal channels on the window frames.

This product is great and easy to install. I had trouble with my first attempt then I watched YouTube to learn that you should heat the strip with a hair dryer before installation. The strip comes curled in a bundle and is stiff. The hot air will make the rubber more pliable for molding this around the windows. Or listen to your wife and read the instructions first.

Good product, but came with 3M tape protective film partially off the tape making 2 feet not usable because I didn't trust adhesion. The rest worked well so far.
