VolcomMen's Kerosene 21" Hybrid Chino Shorts

Great shorts for day-to-day on vacation. The material is light and can easily double as board shorts. And that’s great because I love that these shorts have pockets - a feature usually lacking on board shorts. They fit a little bigger than I would expect for the size I usually get in shorts, but not too big. More like a “relaxed fit”, I guess. All in all, I love these shorts. I’ll probably get one in every color offered.

My husband loves these shorts! He drives a boat taxi and collects tips all day. The pockets zip closed so he doesn’t lose anything. They have the cut of regular shorts but with board shorts material so he can jump in the lake when he gets too hot.

These shorts are great. They look good and can be double as baggies if I feel the sporadic need to hop in the ocean(which happens pretty often). My only issue is the stretch. They stretch a little more than I'd like between washes. I try to wear pants/shorts 2x or 3x between washing/drying them(if I stain/get the garment dirty I'll wash right away). Outside of that issue I really enjoy these.I forgot to mention that I would prefer these have a draw string like some other hybrid shorts. Thats my other issue. I buy hybrids b/c they're stupid comfortable, can be used as baggies/trunks, AND walking shorts. Hope that helps.

I found these at a TJ Max years ago and they have been my favorite shorts. Glad to find some new replacements online!

These look and fit much like the original Volcom chino shorts, but they use the light and stretchy hybrid material. They are in the sweet spot where they can be dressed up or down. The cell phone pocket is a requirement for me, so I'm really happy to see Volcom add it to hybrids like this. Since Volcom likes to remove or change clothing lines so often these days, I bought five different colors of this Kerosene model, just in case they discontinue it. Hopefully these will last me 5+ years like the original Chino did.

They're comfortable, look nice, work with a dress shirt, are hybrids so you're always water ready and they'll last for years. Plus the design has improved! I only got new pairs because I lost weight, my original pairs from 2018 were still going strong.

I bought these for my hubby and I love the color. It is like a stone or cement blue....not common and it looks masculine and unique. I did find the 34 was a bit baggy for him which normally is his size so I went down with a 33.

Fit great and look great. Love the cell phone pocket. That’s so hard to find now. Especially on shorts made of this material. The zipper wallet packet is deff a nice touch too. I would deff order again and recommend them. Stretch feature is awesome too

Excelente estilo. Justo lo que esperaba en cuanto a color, diseño, comodidad y ajuste. La tela se siente ligera y fresca. Lo recomiendo ampliamente.
