Truman by David McCullough (1993-06-14)

David McCullough is an excellent historian. He does his research and makes history interesting. This book shows what goes on behind the scenes in politics and paints Harry Truman as a honest man who tried to do what was right for America during hard times.

Learning why history is important and it does repeat itself

Damaged book covers and broken spline at about page 600. Numerous ink underlinings by a previous owner. An interesting “$2.00” price tag affixed on outer cover. Will not re-order from ThriftBooks thru Amazon in the future. Local book buyer refused it for free. That said, I read the book and enjoyed the book and story of perhaps one our greatest presidents in my opinion.
