Absolutely 5 star all the way!! My 6 year old daughter and I have been doing these kits every holiday season for the past few years. I've bought kits made by other manufacturers in the past because I was trying to save a few bucks. Never again! These are such high quality! Detailed and solid ornaments, highly pigmented smooth and silky METALLIC paint, beautiful ribbons to hang with, PLUS these are double sided so if you have two or four kids, each gets a side! I want to be able to use these EVERY year and I should've been thinking of that before choosing the cheap ones. These are high quality and beautiful in every way! Here looking for more to buy for us to make and to give as gifts to other moms.

Fun for all ages. Everything you need is included. The one thing I would change, and it's not that big of a deal to be honest, the paint colors are a little muted. The red and green aren't what I consider Christmas colors. we still used them and had a ton of fun and the ornaments turned out great! Making crafts and memories together as a family at Christmas is priceless and in the case of these ornaments the price was right on!

I bought a bunch of sets for Christmas ornament painting for grandparents and other family members this year, and this was by far our favorite. The ornaments are lightweight, easy for little hands to move around, the paint covered well and dried quickly, it came with ribbons to hang them (other brands didn’t), and the details stood out without needing to be painted exactly over them. Some other brands seemed to have fairly smooth molds, and for toddler especially, when they didn’t follow the features, you couldn’t even tell what the ornament was supposed to be with other brands. These were great for all ages, and a favorite for everyone involved. The metallic paint had a very pretty shimmer, and looks like a high quality paint. By comparison with other kits, this was the best overall quality, especially for people who can’t paint in detail. I would buy this again and recommend it.

We love Melissa and Doug products. Good brand with quality products. These were so much fun for my kids to paint. The paint is shimmery and there are different designs on each side. Fun project and did not disappoint. Looked great on the tree!

It's a tradition for my son and me to make our own Christmas ornaments every year (so he has a full set when he gets his own place down the road). This is hands down the best DIY ornament set I've purchased so far. Great quality for an awesome price. I hope they change the designs every year, I'd love to buy this again next holiday season.

These are really awesome. My 4 year old and 6 year old make beautiful ornaments for their tree. I ordered another set so they can make some for mine. They are extra good because they are TWO sided. After the first side drys, they have another side to paint. Order two sets if you have two kids because they both want the tree. We compromised by letting each one paint a side of the different one and they thought that was fun.

Double sided and wonderful quality. Even the two brushes it comes with are better quality than the typical kids craft brushes. The ornaments are double sided and different on either side, so essentially you have 4 ornaments to paint. Comes with ribbons to hang the ornaments. Really nice product for a reasonable price.

Such a great set, definitely giftable. The ornaments themselves are made very well, sturdy and don't feel cheap at all. The paint was perfect, has a metallic shine. My kids really enjoyed painting these.

My 3 year old daughter painted these and gave them as gifts to her grandma and great grandma. The paint looked really nice and metallic, and had a cool effect when 2 colors mixed together. She also had a lot of fun doing these as a little activity, we painted them in 2 different sessions for back and front. Would recommend.

Liked the quality but thought there should have been a couple more ornaments

I bought this for my Grandson (7) to paint on Christmas Eve. His Mom (26) ended up painting one of the two with him and they had such a great time! The ornaments are very sturdy (though, while still in the packaging they kept sliding out of their slots). The paint provided is absolutely gorgeous! It has a sheen to it (but not at all in a "cheap sparkly" way....far from it) that turned them into stunning tree ornaments. Both sides can be painted and there was plenty of paint supplied. If I can find more variations of these Christmas tree ornaments I will definitely start making this a Mother & Son Christmas tradition for them.
