I got this for my 6 year old (soon to be seven). She enjoyed every bit of it. It’s interactive and so adorable. It was fun for her to open. The cardboard was easy for her to open but we usually did help her get the items out of the bags inside. But that was no big deal. This may have been my biggest win this Christmas season

First thing! Most Important thing! Her hands pop off. I’m so glad I researched and read the reviews otherwise it would have been a dud. You must know her hands pop off to get the clothes on. Ok now that that is out of the way. I bought this a year ago. I opened it up as I always do with advents to make sure all the stuff was there before letting my kids have at it Dec. 1st. I must say I got this for my Minnie Mouse loving toddler (1 at the time). This is not rated for children that young but I monitored. She isn’t super mouthy and the pieces aren’t super small. I have to say she loved this Minnie and the whole advent open something every day idea. And getting to dress her was a blast. She couldn’t do it herself but she liked opening the doors and getting the stuff out. And every day we changed her out and added the new accessories. She played with it every day and sometimes slept with it. All the pieces were sturdy well made plastic and the clothes were not cheaply made. It had the quality you would expect for a Disney toy and for spending the price you do. This was my kid’s first advent so of course we ran into the problem that it wasn’t open everything at once. She asked several times a day carrying the box around asking and there were a few tantrums but she knew first thing every morning she did get to open a door. I wish I could find something like this again. She doesn’t play with the Minnie now really. Interests have shifted away from Minnie but my other kids still pull her out. I’m a huge fan of this advent. Best one I’ve ever experienced myself and with my own kids. I highly recommend for any child that likes dress up dolls Minnie accessorizing playing pretend. All of that. The doors were easy to open. It’s a good size box. We of course opened Minnie first and all the accessories after. If you can get this advent then do.

My daughter loves this Minnie. We've started expanding on our collection because of her fascination with these dolls.I read in other reviews that sometimes these dolls break easily, are hard to dress, etc. I almost didn't buy it for that reason, as my child needs OT and PT and I didn't want to frustrate her. When I couldn't find another advent calendar that she'd like, I decided to take a chance.Her headband falls off a bit easily after the first time removing it, but aside from that, she's held together wonderfully so far. My daughter puts Minnie back "at her house" every night. We're starting, of course, on December 1st for all of the clothes and accessories. I'll update y'all if that ends up being a pain, but right now, my child is so delicate with this doll that we've had no issues. She treasures this dolly in particular and shows me all of her little features; it's quite cute. If your kid isn't too hard on her dollies (entirely a personality thing) and likes Minnie, then I'd try it out; they might end up more excited than you'd expect them to be. If your kid doesn't know their own strength, doesn't like dressing his/her other dollies or doesn't do much pretend play, then eh, I'd skip it.

This was the best advent calendar we have ever had. The kids still play dress up with Minnie Mouse, and looked forward to opening it every day. We will be looking for one like this every year from here out.

My daughter LOVES the advent calendar and LOVES giving Minnie Mouse a new surprise every day (although the first few days were rough when we told her she had to wait until the next day for the next surprise). Unfortunately today, December 8, Minnie (and my daughter) learned a hard life lesson when the door was opened to reveal no surprise... Without opening any of the other "doors", I looked into the calendar at surrounding days in case today's surprise was inadvertently put into a different compartment, but that does not appear to be the case. Overall still a great calendar, and far superior to the cheap chocolate ones I got as a kid (sorry, mom!) Not sure who will be purchasing this now as we're over a week into December, but if you do, maybe have some back-up goodies on hand you can give to a disappointed child.**UPDATE** I meant to update this sooner, but the missing toy was there all along! It did indeed fall into another compartment, so my daughter ended up getting two toys one day...

This is adorable and my daughter is so excited. Unfortunately, she arrived broken and we didn’t know until today (start of advent/December). The outfit is cute and day one clothes are cute but Minnie’s arm is almost completely fallen off. Trying to figure out what to do as the calendar is no longer available and I am going to have a sad three year old.

I bought this advent calendar for my 4 year old niece who lives far away from me. I wanted to have something relevant that she could interact with and remind her of me regularly. My sister says she is loving the daily surprise for her Minnie Doll. The shoes are her favorite part. Most toys at Christmas kids play with for a day and then forget about. This toy is gonna last for a whole month of enjoyment!

If you are a Disney fan/Minni Mouse enthusiast or just want something so cute for your little one...this is it!!Absolutely the cutest advent I have ever found. Upon opening I noticed loose glitter coming off the bow headband....not too bad. Be sure to put the dress on "feet first". Love that she can pose and the fact that her hands pop off to attach handbags. Some of the shoes (that we have opened so far) are so detailed! It really is a amazing gift. I highly recommend this!
