Necessary, but expensive.
I buy these for my 92yo asthmatic mother who benefits from them.They are very light and you would think there is nothing in them but they work ok.It's a pity they are so expensive at £22 each (this time).

Warning! Total scam
These cans are not full of ‘95% pure oxygen’, it’s basically air and they are a scam. They say it ‘contains’ 95% pure oxygen to make you think as if this is the entire contents, whereas it is just a component of a mix of inert gases, probably mainly nitrogen. Should be reported to trading standards
