Backlit Key Cap for Cherry MX Mechanical Koi Fish Resin Artisan Keycaps 1U

Not sure if it is durable yet but overall it looks very detailed and cute, exactly like the pic, I do not regret this purchase right now :)

Was looking for a resin poured keycap that wasn't too expensive to see if it fit my keyboard and I could still use it well. Fits cherry mx (or adjacent/similar, like mine) switches, as advertised. Koi fish aren't as detailed as image, and resin pouring isn't as controlled. The way the resin poured makes it where my backlight doesn't show thru very much on the key, unfortunately, but it's still pretty. I didn't expect it to look the exact same anyway, but for the price compared to other handmade keycaps (upwards of $30-60 per cap), it looks great and clicks well. It's a slightly different height (a little taller) than my other keys, but since I put it on the escape key it doesn't affect my typing or gaming.Great little accent key! Would love to see in more colors. Perfect for the gamer on a budget!

its a good cap, i purchased it specifically for my escape key and it fit great, went on without needing any heating. the material has a good amount of shine through that makes the colors and fish pop if your keyboard has backlighting or rgb in general. has a nice smooth texture too. so might not be as good of a choice for frequently used keys.*again this key cap is specially for CHERRY stems. so make sure thats what you have.*

This particular artisan keycap looks really good with white LED light up. No obvious signs of build shortcuts or flaws. Even the small details/shape of the fish are smooth without any plastic edging.Just keep in mind it will not light up evenly, since just about all keyboards with lighting either have North or South facing LED locations. So either the pink will be real bright as it is on mine, or the blue will... but not both. The other negative is depending on the type of switch you are using, this keycap COULD interfere with full switch depression. The keycap was made with the generic full length keycap depth measurement. No real fault to the creator, as there can be so many deviations in keyboards, switches and clearances these days. I am using Razer orange switches, and they tend to catch on the top corner of the switch when depressing, mostly if the switch is not depressed perfectly square, like the edge of the keycap is where you apply pressure, THEN it will catch on the switch as it is depressed. Even though this occurred for sometime after install, funny enough, it has since stopped. I believe the materials on the keycap are just soft enough where the edge of the switch housing that used to catch on the bottom of the keycap has since worn a groove into the inside of the keycap edge.this is a very specific use case scenario. So most likely this is a very small % of cases that this would happen. Just thought I would share. As i said, it is all good now, and works as intended after some wear time has set in.

Looks sweet, put it where my esc key was, really really like it. Assuming it doesn't break def pick one up!
